Well that answers my question and that's a pretty good special guest. I guess Warren will probably play with Phil. But I am still sorry they switched the other Mule show to Friday as I will now have to miss it.

Yup, had mine since the presale. Who would ever want to miss two nights of Mule? Not me.

I had to wait because my mom didn't want me going at first and then my brother wasn't sure if he was going to be able to be home from California in time. However, since he is home tonight for a job interview and a concert tomorrow, I just told him about the new addition and he just simply said "Buy the tickets" with no hesitation. So, now my tickets are bought. By the way sorry for sounding like a retard in this post if i do.

I was planning on going Sunday to see North Mississippi Allstars, Robert Randolph, and Gov't Mule on the same bill, but I probably won't go anymore. Flame me if you like, but The Grateful Dead and all of their side projects are just so goddamn boring.

We all have our preferences. I was not a Dead lover for a long time. Now, I just want to hear the songs. It was an interesting transformation that took about 6 years to happen.

But we are all allowed to have our own opinions and likes and dislikes and that is what makes the world an interesting place.

Anyway, here's the link to the new schedule.

BTW, sorry to those who were planning differently.

Listen, Phil just started to do a few performances. He wasn't even planning on touring up till this month, so I know this development was nothing the organizers could have predicted.

Of course there is no question that Warren will be on statge for a significant amount of Phil's performance. So it is a third opportunity to see Warren and to see him do different songs with different musicians.

I also thought that Vinsanity needs to stop apologizing for his occasional miswords. (Which is part of what I got from his post you quoted.) He is a young man, of the world in some ways, but he is still 17. I met him. Like most 17 year olds, he needs to grow up a bit. :-)

BTW, I work for the NYC DOH & MH in the mental hygiene division, for about 12 years now. It covers developmental disabilities and other forms of cognitive disorders. So I got what you're saying Drobyn.

I had just put in for that Friday off to Catch The New Orleans Social Club , now with Mule on for Friday it's shaping up to be a great 3 day festival. Also I am pretty much a Hunter local for the winter and just noticed this surveliance camera this weekend sitting exactly opposite the entrance to the mountain. This next part is from a State Trooper that is also a local ( ski season ) home owner in regards to such :__________________________________________________________________________ __i'll get to the nitty gritty.
there is a camera located on the telephone pole at the macgregors parking lot. it faces hunter mountain. it has an orange sign that says "increased enforcement area". now i asked around last night because that camera was not there last week. nobody knows nothing.
so it is one of 3 things:
1. it couldn't possibly be a red light camera because there is no red light to enforce.
2. it could possibly be just a closed circuit camera but i highly doubt that.
3. it is more than likely one of those plate readers that i have posted about b4. due to the amount of traffic, coming and going from hunter. if it is the plate reader, make sure your registration is not suspended or revoked and of course that the car is not stolen or has switched plates. more than likely it is exactly this and they would dispatch a car to make the stop if they get a hit on a plate.

again i asked a few people including the unofficial mayor wally and he said that he asked all police agencies and everyone is claiming ignorance.
thats bs. a camera is not going up in town with atleast the local or state police knowing about it.
___________________________________________________________________________ ______ I will repost this info the week before Mountain Jam as a precaution for those driving there . I recently had a run in with the local authorities and due in no part to anyones fault but myself took a ride to the local precient and had to hire a lawyer so the issue would not be worse than I was able to get out of with minimal damage. ( Pleaded down to fines , thank God ) I've noticed in the last month or so that the police have been activly busting & pulling over people on a frequent basis. After seeing the "Busted At Wanee " thread I would recomend that you make sure your car tags are up to date if in fact the camera that is now at the entrance is what it might be suspected to be. When I was at the police station ( I was being as they say "co-operative" since anything else would probably only made matters worse ) I got the distinct impression in coversing with the guy who took me in & the Sargent that was there , that there is going to be a larger more visible police presence this year at the show . The Disco Biscuits had a 2 day festival at Hunter last year and I heard they busted quite a few people selling ectasy at that show . Needless to say this did not go over well in the local community & with the owners of Hunter. So be careful how you travel & how you party at this years Jam. My brother also had a recent Pull-Over on the Thruway. He was driving his comopny car and said he saw the State Trooper coming up fast in the left lane and the police drove by & then slowed until my brother , now traveling within the spped limit , was follwed & then pulled over. Apparently the State Trooper Highway patrol has cars with scaners that read ytour Registraion & Inspection tags. He was pulled over for a suspended registraion , which since it's the company's vehicle , he was unaware of. He got really spooked because this was the week after I had been bagged. So be careful out there.
