After Tony's great Wanee experience (thanks to the kind Family), I thought it's about time to uncover Lil bro Tony Tyler's official thread and update it. Tony is now pursuing a solo career with his new music, as well as guest performances with other bands. We'll be booking Tony all over the southeast and beyond. PM me if there's a great listening room in your area and you'd like to see Tony come to your town. Also, watch for details of his new solo album to be released in the near future.

He has a new website and has added new photos and information to his Myspace page.

MUSIC and NIGHTLIFE
You’re so Macon if…

Your drummer quits and it wrecks the whole music scene. – Aaron Irons

You wish people "Happy Bragg Jam" and "Happy First Friday" like they're real holidays. – Roger Riddle

You saw Sam and Dave, “Wicked” Wilson Picket, Freddie and the Flintstones, Otis and James Brown at the City Auditorium – Patrick Topping

You had your prom picture taken at Duane Allman's grave. – Ali Wilson

You think Tony Tyler could be "the next Duane Allman" – Jann Baggins

You say things like "The Next Duane Allman" – Jann Baggins

You consider the Allman Brothers family. – Emily Allgood Griffin

You’ve ever had your face rocked off at the U2charist. – Alex Bender

You know that Hank Vegas is not just one person, and that you won’t find the Hummingbird in any Audubon nature books. – Cynthia Douglass

You buy a whole new outfit, get your hair and nails done, and get a babysitter to make plans three months ahead of time for the Reader’s Choice Awards, like you were going to the Grammys or something. – Ainsley Askew

From MissTerry:

Tony's playing AND singing and has made an amazing recovery since last week's unfortunate incident.

Friday - Dirty Nelly's, Downtown Dublin
Saturday - Downtown Kitchen, Canton, GA

TTT's got north and middle Georgia covered this weekend, so get out to a show if you can.

Thanks.

Great to hear that Tony is back at it! I figured from the posted info, that he would be out of commission for a while. You can't keep a good brother down!

I hear about this guy once a year it seems like on this site, around Wanee, never anything else. it sounds like he is just more of a fascination for the females than a musician. Has he been on the cover of the juvenille mag Tiger Beat latley?

If you are saying he is a teen star he is not. He is a brother! And a GD good player and a GD good guy! Have you seen him play?

Thought not!! By the way I am not female.

Tony is young and still trying to make his mark in the music world, but his talent and passion for music are undeniable, and his musical taste is pretty far from David Cassidy.

The ladies do seem to love him, but don't hold that against him Don't hate, congratulate! Hey, isn't that the reason guys play music in the first place, to impress women?

It worked on my wife

My wife is my biggest fan. Well Ok. She is my only fan.

Tony seems like a great guy and many on here seem to think so. Good enough for me. The clips I have seen show a young guy with good taste in music. More power to him.

As long as we don't get multiple threads going again.

Tony really impressed Susie and myself at the Campfire Jams. It was our first time seeing him live. Strong vocals, great guitar and went the extra mile on the drums. Very talented. We loved it when he played Little Martha.....We wish him the best.

I read his site, didn't realize he played all the instruments listed. Amazing!!

Ever since Tony came to Wanee 2006 with Elizabeth "Pastdreams" and participated in the RRC jam there with Devon Allman and Pedro Arevalo, he's been one of my favorite folks. He was 19 then, and I gained a new friend who is young, but has an old soul. I think the world of Tony. His folks raised him right. That he possesses so much musical talent is just icing on the cake. Tony will get his break one of these days, and I look forward to telling people, "I knew him when..."
