Here's a link to an interesting test.

http://www.military.com/PoliticalLeaderShipTest/1,16194,political-main.htm, ,00.html

What Political Leader Are You Most Like.

Me? Some of you might be surprised, but the one I was most like was George H. W. Bush. Oh well, better to be the father, than the son.

Biography:
Andrew Jackson is considered by historians to be the first modern President. He truly represented the common man, and was elected with high public support. Born in the backwoods of the Carolinas, he overcame his modest background and became a successful lawyer and businessman in Tennessee. He was the first man elected from Tennessee to the House of Representatives, and he served briefly in the Senate. A major general in the War of 1812, Jackson became a national hero when he defeated the British at New Orleans. He became President in 1829, and was reelected with a massive popular support and almost five times as many electoral votes as his opponent.

Leadership Attributes:
Andrew Jackson was a pragmatic leader who worked within the patronage-oriented political system that existed then. He was much more focused on domestic politics than foreign policy. Though he could use force Jackson became a national hero when he defeated the British at New Orleans during the War of 1812 he was a consummate diplomat and skilled negotiator. He was one of the most skillful political leaders of his generation and is credited with reviving the two-party system in this country. Kind of fittin seein how I am from Carolina, I kill a man to if he insulted my wife as well

George Washington!

Portrait: George Washington.
National Archives

Biography:
As the first President and father of our nation, George Washington set the standard for succeeding presidents to follow. At a critical time in the nation's history, he provided stability and prestige. He was the military leader of the colonies during the Revolutionary War. Against daunting odds, he led the military effort that ultimately drove the British from the colonies. After the war, Washington was chosen to be chairman of the Philadelphia Constitutional Convention of 1787, providing the prestige needed for success.

Leadership Attributes:
George Washington was political pragmatist. He could overcome ideological divisions, like those dividing Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton, who both served under him. He was able to admit the dire situation of the colonies after the American Revolution. Washington was also a consummate diplomat: he handled the tempestuous relations between Hamilton and Jefferson. He also deftly negotiated the relations between military and civilian authority during the American Revolution.

Boy didn't see this one coming............

Biography:

Anwar Sadat was President of Egypt from 1970 to 1981 and was one of the key architects of peace between Egypt and Israel. A career military professional, he participated in the 1952 coup that overthrew King Farouk, then the leader of Egypt. After becoming president, he embarked on peace negotiations with Israel. He met Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin and participated in peace talks at Camp David with Jimmy Carter. In 1979, Sadat and Begin were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. He was assassinated in 1981 in Cairo by religious extremists.

Leadership Attributes:

During a period when most Arab leaders were opposed to Israel on hard-line ideological grounds, Anwar Sadat was realistic. Sadat believed that negotiating with Israel was the path to peace and security. Sadat also carefully studied the domestic Egyptian political atmosphere to ensure that he had the necessary popular support to embark on negotiations with Israel. Sadat's astute leadership marked the beginning of an era of peace and stability between Egypt and Israel.

George H. W. Bush!

Portrait: George Bush.
National Archives

Biography:
George Herbert Walker Bush was born into a wealthy family with a tradition of public service. He joined the Navy after high school, becoming the youngest pilot in the Navy. He flew 58 combat missions during World War II. On one mission over the Pacific he was shot down by Japanese antiaircraft fire and was rescued from the water by a U. S. submarine. After graduation from Yale, Bush embarked on a career in the oil industry of West Texas. He later entered politics, becoming a Congressman. He served as Vice President under Ronald Reagan before being elected President in 1988.

Leadership Attributes:
In contrast to Ronald Reagan's idealism, President Bush was solidly pragmatic. For example, he advocated a policy of restraint toward the group of new nations that grew from the dissolution of the Soviet Union. Bush also used military force rather than diplomacy. He sent troops into Panama to overthrow the corrupt regime of General Manuel Noriega, who was threatening the security of the canal. When Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990, Bush assembled and led the military coalition that forced Iraq out of Kuwait.

I based my answers on logic and strategy, not what I thought based on my morals, values or convictions because a person in a Presidential role cannot always do what he thinks is right according to his conscience because he is acting in the interest of millions of people, they will be effected by his decision. When you are making decisions only for yourself where only you will suffer the consequences then you must act in accordance with your conscience; but in this case as a President of my country, Ginastan, I have to think about what will happen to the 25 million people here. A small country needs to ally with a large country that borders it that is militarily superior to it or risk invasion. If we ally with Romalia, they will not come to invade is, they would have no need to do that. We can live in our country, do what we want, at least for now without them interfering. Since Avalonia is not close to us how can we ally with them when they are in no position to assist us if we were in a war with Romalia? If we chose the other way, Romalia would invade us, take us over and slaughter us with Avalonia saying gee that's a shame but you're too far for us to be able to send many troops to help you out. Survival is tantamount. I cannot risk the lives of the 25 million people in Ginastan. If you ally with a country you don't really like, you can always start a covert insurgency with rebels from the Avalonia, just use the intelligence agencies to do it. Of course Romalia may want to take over Avalonia first, then once Ginastan is surrounded then come for us, but at least we have more time

He looked a lot like Che Guevara, drove a diesel van
Kept his gun in quiet seclusion, such a humble man
The only survivor of the National People's Gang
Panic in Detroit, I asked for an autograph
He wanted to stay home, I wish someone would phone
Panic in Detroit
