Hello, a little about myself. I am in Ontario, Canada. I am 37 years old, and have been an Allmans fan since the early nineties when I get to see them for the first them with Little Feat opening the show at Maple Leaf gardens in Toronto. I have since seen them 8 times in Toronto and once at Darrien Lake. This year, they are coming to Casino Rama which I believe will be an awesome venue for them. I"m booking work off now for it, can't wait. I saw them two years ago in Toronto, Warren couldn't make it so Jack Pearson sat in along with Chuck Leavell and the Stones sax player, who we're rehearsing in TO at the time with the Stones. Great show, all oldies but goodies. I am a bass player of 25 years now, currently playing the country circuit here, but spent many years doing the blues and playing many of the Brothers songs. I've been told I sing a mean Greg Allman. hehe Anyway, my next quest is to take some holidays next year and head on down to NY to the Beacon, if the Beacon DVD is any indication of what I've been missing, then I'll walk there from Toronto if I have to! hehe Cheers!

Hey Kim, now that it's July we should start thinking about a preshow thing for 31st. at Rama...first night of the tour should be interesting. Last time I saw the first show of an ABB tour was 1972. Bringing my little sister with me, she has not seen ABB for a number of years .

Hi Jack!

Good idea!

I've never been to Rama so I have no direct knowledge of what the best place is for {all of} us. Have you been to Rama? Has anybody else who is reading this?

I checked out the Rama website, clicked on "Dining" and went through the 9 restaurants there, including looking at the menus. Not exactly sure what you, me, others would be looking for but what might be appropriate is the Dream Catcher Sports Bar. Check it out on the site. There is another restaurant, Weirs, that seems good but it appears to be a bit more 'restaurant like' than the Sports Bar.

Let me know what you have in mind and check out the website. You can always give us a phone call if you like here at home, Jack.

This is our 10 year ABB anniversary {we were a little late to the game, but you know what they say.... } Looking forward to seeing you and your sister, Jack. Let's stay in touch and work it out.

Im from Rama. Casino Rama is 1 mile down the road from where I live. If you and anyone else going there for the first time, you all gonna be in for a treat. The venue at Casino Rama is awesome to play at and is going to sound awesome. The Brothers are going to like playing there.

Any of the restaurants you just mentioned are really good, which you will enjoy. Sounds like alot of peeps will be going there prior to the show.

Hi Duey!

I read your post after I got home from Rama because I went to Rama early {Sunday}. Thanks for your reply. We met up at the Dream Catcher Lounge both nights and spent some time in the Firestarter Lounge too. BTW, Karen {Big Six Peach Head} mentioned you to us. Take care! Kim
