WHILE SOME OF YOU WERE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO SEE THE BROTHERS AT THE BEACON SUNDAY NIGHT, SOME OF US GOT TO WATCH THE SOPRANOS, NOT A GOOD TRADE OFF, BUT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DID WATCH THE SOPRANOS, WHAT DID YOU THINK??

I THOUGHT IT MOVED KIND OF SLOW, AND TONY'S SISTER IS A PIECE OF TRASH!! WHERE WERE BOBBY'S KIDS, DOESN'T HE HAVE KIDS??

I felt like it was 3 hours instead of 1. Very boring and not a good way to open the last season.

I did not know that. I'll certainly watch episode 2 . . . I haven't missed one yet.

While I understand not divulging anything, SkyPuppy, I had read a while back that they were considering showing the very last episode in movie theaters across the country, Sunday evening.

Any truth to that?

There was talk last year, actually two yrs ago about possibly ending the Show with a full Motion Picture Feature film. I don't know why it didn't happen, but with he history of the show and it's contracts, I would bet the salaries were the deal breaker. HBO has no problem spending money on productions..like the $100 Million they are spending now in VA....salariers are another thing.

Hmmmmm $100 sounds pretty cheap to me?

I posted on an earlier thread, andI'll repeat here. Did anyone notice if the guy with the shaved head at Phil's party was Little Paulie? Sounded like him to me. Kind of a slow deliberate opening episode IMO. Tony still got the best of Bobby by making him kill that kid.

I think it will be Johnny Sack..

And I thought it moved VERY slow last night.

I assume they are building up to somthing though

The brawl between Tony and Bobby was pretty cool though

I kept waiting for the little girl to fall in the water and drown. I must admit, though, Tony pretty much got even for the brawl. Interesting turn of events.

I thought it was a good episode and the acting solid as usual.
I'm not really sure what everyone expects to happen in the first episode,
but you're not always gonna get a Mt. Jam right outta the gate.
I think I watch this show differently than any other because I sit
and try to analyze the scenes to see if it's a sign of things to come.
The image of the gun Bobby gave Tony and the repeated showing of the little girl
were the 2 biggest things that stood out for me. There are a lot of storylines
to wrap up so with only 8 more episodes (I think?) you should see things
happening very quickly.

..LOL, c'mon..you know by now they never tie up loose ends. I can think of 10 story lines we begged for follow ups. It's just the way it is, they would need another season to wrap it all up.
OK, here's a question! If there was one Situation you would like to see followed up on, which would it be. What Episode would you like to see followed up?

I liked episode one pretty much. It will be interesting to see how Bobby's first kill will affect him. Also, the kid he whacked, grabbed a chunk of Bobby's shirt. If one of his chest hairs got caught in there, there might be some DNA evidence

Given his nervousness, I'm sure Bobby sweat into his shirt a bit, so perhaps there would be DNA even without the hair.

Anyone realize how Tony said he would of won the fight if it was before he was in the hospital, but remember the fight Tony got into with his body guard after Johnny Sacks daughters wedding.

The bodyguard fight wasn't really a fight because the bodyguard didn't fight back. He was afraid of Tony's position. Bobby was drunk and just reacted. He realized the gravity of the situation when he ran out of the house and smashed his SUV into the tree.
I love this freakin' show. Too bad we only have a handful of episodes left.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a Soprano movie after this season.

That was funny when Chris called to wish Tony happy birthday and he hung up on him before he could finish saying it.

What do you give somebody for their birthday that just got busted on a weapons charge.
The biggest automatic weapon you can find Bobby is a moron.
