about 10 min into jessica a man with a flashlight pointed it at me then ripped my ticket in half this was warning one. if i smoke again then i'm finished at the beacon well before the end of the first set he came back took my ticket and told me to leave. i laughed and walked out then went to that bar with the bear outside and had great time.

this will be the last time i go to the beacon, i asked at the window for the the last seat in the place and i got upper balcony and i just wanted to relax and watch the last show in peace because my gf broke up with me on sat but i was kicked out. i was wanded and then taken aside and i had to empty every pocket and go through every fold of my wallet and turn each pocket inside out.

i had a GREAT time after i left the beacon, That was the Last Beacon Show i will ever go to. FACT!(i'm a little pissed)

I'm sorry that you got kicked out that sucks.

But was smoking more important than listening and watching the Allmans on their final show? I don't understand when people put the party ahead of the music.

At least they gave you a warming, lots of places just throw you to the cops.

sorry you couldn't get your medicine in before the show.

When you smoke in a place that does not allow smoking (legal or illegal) you run the risk of being kicked out for breaking their rules. They warned you once and you did it again so that is what happens. It does suck that it happened to you and you missed the show, but that is a risk you took and ultimately only you are to blame, not the Beacon.

i went to 3 last night, 4 the night before, 5 on friday and so on those are my nights. the becon show is the only one i go to to really relax and just drift away. the others ones i go to cause my friends ask me. it means alot to then if i got for a couple shows.

on friday night i was in clifton, then morristown, then NYC

my favorite part of these nights are when i'm in my jeep and the windows are down and i hear the nature blow through the car. my ears hurt right now and i need to take a week off of get a pair of shooting earmuffs.

nebish i've been kicked out of so many places in my life but never the beacon. the reason i was cause i passed my joint. i usually go with friends but made the mistake of passing a joint to a group of kids dancing and yelling which brought the attention to me. i never put it in anyones face or am i obsece with it. if they let us smoke outside i would never have done it there.

I believe he was talking about smoking a cig-not a joint-same thing almost happened to my friend on 3/30

ironic (but great) that the Illegal drug is Legal to smoke there but Not the legal one

hey-security-if you drop a joint and it sets the beacon on fire-is that OK?!

Johnny, man you got to stop getting high so much.
You have to finish my guitar. Remember? Brock and the guitars?
Last Tuesday night at the Beacon in the Loge several guys were lighting up throughout the show and "That Smell" was there. Not a security guard in sight. Man, I can't believe you walked out in the middle of an ABB concert.

I too don't like the fact that the new security won't allow us to openly partake. I also think it is hypocritical to stop the smokers while allowing people to totally pollute themselves with alcohol. That being said, if they are gonna enforce the no smoking rule, we are going to have to comply. I went to four shows and saw many people smoking. The ones that were careful and not fluanting it usually didn't get caught, and if they got warned they stopped. I smoked at my first show, but after seeing so many people being harassed I didn't even try for my other three shows and that certainly didn't ruin my experience. I wish it were the same way it has always been at the Beacon, but it could be worse. I'd rather have the ABB Beacon run continue without the herb than to not have it at all.JMO.

Definitely!!! There was a lot of smoking going around where I was but I did not see one person get harrassed. Also, outside during the break - lot's of smoke that didn't generate from a Lucky Strike pack but didn't see the cops hassling anyone (although I read that a teacher got busted out there one night).

Johnnie--How can you go to four concerts covering two states in one night, especially if you get high 20 times? I'm still trying to figure that one out. Are we talking about 3 hour concerts?

That's funny. My daughter said the same thing. She's not allowed to light up a cigarette but people are lighting up joints and nobody says anything.

no my friends play in alot of those joke bands, like 30 min sets. so i go get a drink then stay for at least 1 set then go. Anderson Council in Clash Bar in clifton, 3 bands played that night and two of them i'm very familar with. then some acoustic guy who contacted me on myspace was playing down the street from my frat brothers from rutgers, had a drink with them them went out.

last night after the beacon i left that bear bar, and went to Red Lion down in the villiage i walked in and they were playing cissy strut and then one way out. but i was not really in a music mood and i sat in a back booth with two guys from Oklahoma city and two ladies from england. I'm from NJ so this was a pretty funny group of people. the two okc guys were in the Marines and they got kicked out of the red lion cause they started figting with other guys.

my good friends just got to my house and he was in the balcony last night and he told me about this teen kid behind him that went to the from row of the blacony then threw up on the people below and then went back to his seat and got another drink. the beacon should cut down on underage drinking if anything.
