I just wanted to say I received my 3 cook books yesterday..and I couldn't be happier..right on the heels of my Beacon Sat. 3/31 show and Jam For the Cure at Beacon Hotel.... Thank You Ann and John for the signed copies..they are a treated treasure

The cookbook is beautiful and now I have a pair of book ends Vol I and now Vol II ... I am proud to be part of a fundraiser The Rose Hill Foundation for the care and upkeep of Duane Allman and Berry Oakley's resting place.

Now to also be part of donations going to MusiCares, Music Maker and Hart sets MY heart in a warm glow.... We all love music and that is what brought us all together... especially the sound of the ABB's calling out to us in our hearts and souls...

Thank You...so much for all your hard work... Renee, Don, Sharon, Anne and all who contributed to this cook book... What a family.. I feel blessed.. and hungry.. let's get cooking

rainy

I've been enjoying mine already! But, silly Minnesotan, I had a mental picture of a stuffed pistolette that was a little more exotic than it turned out to be. When I actually learned that you can buy a pistolette pre-made by Peppridge Farm, I was really disillusioned.

And it was real nice meeting "deezee" last weekend ....

See the thing about pistolettes are they can be as exotic as you want them to be.

Don't tell the folks at "Suires Grocery" near Forked Island, low carb is about as exotic as those cajuns get.

Shrimp pistolettes Blend of spices and shrimp stuffed in a pistolette roll. Can bake or fry.

Crab pistolettes - Blend of spices and Louisiana crabmeat stuffed in a pistolette roll. Can bake or fry.

Crawfish pistolettes - Blend of spices and crawfish stuffed in a pistolette roll. Can bake or fry.

Catfish Stuffed Pistolettes - Blend of spices and crawfish stuffed in a pistolette roll. Can bake or fry.

Alligator pistolettes - Blend of spices and alligator stuffed in a pistolette roll. Can bake or fry.

Cajun Beef Pistolettes - Blend of spices and hamburger flavor with cheese and jalapeno peppers stuffed in a pistolette roll. Can bake or fry.

Patty, thanks for all those really good-sounding ideas for pistolettes. Sadly, I don't think pistolette rolls are available in Minnesota or I would most certainly try some of these. Maybe we have something similar. Anyway, I had visions of Vaylorettes stuffing their pistolettes in readiness for who-knows-what.

That too....and down here, when a Vaylorette pulls out her pistolette, someone gets fried!
