I was there last night in Row AA and it was awesome. Here is the setlist from last night:

First Set

End Of The Line
Trouble No More
Woman Across The River
Old Before My Time
Hot 'Lanta
Good Clean Fun (listed on setlist as Good Clean Fun or Every Hungry Woman)
44 Blues (w/ Jimmy Vivino)
Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad? (w/ Jimmy Vivino)
Egypt

Second Set

Stormy Monday (w/ Bruce Katz)
Statesboro Blues (w/ Unknown Guitarist) - included old jam where they end it and go back into it w/ Derek ripping it up
Don't Think Twice, It's Alright (w/ Susan Tedeschi)
Feel So Bad (w/ Susan Tedeschi and Bruce Katz) - I think Katz was on this one unless Gregg absolutely ripped a solo like I've never heard. From my angle I couldn't tell because the organ was blocking my view of the keyboard)
In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed >
Bass >
Drums >
In Memory of Elizabeth Reed

Encore

Revival

This is a shame. So who is willing to post the setlist Thurs if I text them? Hopefully I can mash the buttons right on my phone at my first Beacon show.

Do you mean to tell me we actually have to wait until AFTER the show for the setlist?

I'm sorry, but that is unacceptable!! God, we have become so spoiled....

If you want to text the sets to me, I'll post them.

I believe Cujo will be at the April 6th + 7th show. I'll double check with him. I think he mentioned Ticketmaster cancelled tickets on him. So if anyone has spares, send me a PM so I can let him know. Thanks in advance.

strange beacon run, cannot even get setlists, strange vibe on guests and basically very few folks offering up trades of shows and very few people who have gotten in have been generous enough to reoffer-different than other years in many ways--must be the cablevision impact!!!!

Eh, I agree...I don't know if you're saying that about the cablevision comment or the overall disapointing tone of the reply, but I haven't felt the same way this year with the beacon. I had just started posting in Anything Goes before the Beacon (only Derek's forum at first) and when I got in here in March it was insane. Now I feel like the reviews of the shows aren't nearly what they were a year ago. A lot of talk about the covers, some talk of Susan, some talk of the different/fewer guests than last year. I don't know about the trades, but I'd agree that the Beacon run this year, atleast in the forum, isn't the same...and i guess that's also coming with one year of experience, maybe last year was particularly good? I can't comment there, just what I've observed

Regarding the guests: I happened to ask Kirk the other night about the guests. He said that last year was a once in a lifetime thing and would never happen again. He said that the stars just happened to line up right to have all those great musicians in and around New York during that time but that sometimes, it is better for just a straight up ABB show. I happen to agree with him. I have LOVED this years guests so far. Not to say that I didn't like them last year, but I felt that a few times last year the band ahd to completely shift gears to something they weren't used to in order to adjust the show to a certain person. This year, everyone has fit in perfectly - I always love when Ron Holloway or Susan guest, Luther Dickinson is my 3rd favorite living guitar player, and Devon Allman, Junior Mack, and Jay Collins always bring it and are all "family". I have loved this year's guests selection, but that's just my opinion.

Interesting about last year, the list really was kind of unbelievable. I agree that it did make for some different shows last year. At times I felt like the first set was the Allman Brothers Band and the second set was The Allman Brothers with Friends. They played some really different songs and did seem to go really out of their way to make things work.
As for the guests this year, I have always thorougly enjoyed Susan and Ron, as well as Luther. I forget or am not familiar with the others. Just to clear that up, I wasn't making a personal judgement of them, just what seems to be felt.

Midnight rider opened

he didn't give a real order but songs played were

statesboro blues
black hearted woman
desdemona
soulshine
mountain jam-smokestack lightning-mountain jam
anyday- with susan
come on in my kitchen
melissa-opened second set
encore was SOUTHBOUND

notes:
guest guitar and keyboard player-unknown

derek was VERY relaxed, Warren was on fire.
Gregg sounded amazing
Warren is 100%
the show was "weird" not very together, "off key"
weird song placement

As you can tell i'm sure somebody from the show will tell us directly, i was just copying what I was told from a cell phone. lol.
