I was so looking forward to going to Wannee this year, it was to be not only my first time there but my first time seeing the Brothers and Mule live. After some illness and family problems, I was informed today that my buddies that were suppose to be making the trip with me cannot make the journey. So now I am left with the question should I brave it alone or just try and sell my ticket. Anyone?

Brave it alone. There will be PLENTY of brothers and sisters to look after you, between the River Road Compound and Helen's Hilton.

Listen to BigDaveOnBass and Susea..... If you're able to make the trip and already have a ticket, then come on and enjoy the fest!

Go? Hell yea go. Where do you live Alaska? Listen to BigDave. The best times I have had is when I go to SMP alone. Not for long. I know everyone around me by the next day.

See ya there! 224B

Do a Yahoo Map from Lake City to Live Oak. Not too sure on the distance.

Bring an air mattress and a sleeping bag. We'll find somewhere for you to sleep.

Lake City is about an 30 minutes. If you want a tent, bedding, etc., shoot me ashoot me a PM. Looking like I may have a spare. You can stay with us or if you find another spot you prefer, take it with ya. Send me a PM if that's what you want to do. I wouldn't want to drive to Lake City that late a night but some folks actually do.

Lake City is just on the other side of the GA/FL border, not far away at all.

You should definitely go, because....

1) Spirit of Suwannee Music Park is the best place to see music east of the Mississippi.

2) Dude, I heard the Allman Brothers are going to be there!

3) Not to mention other righteously cool family bands like Gov't Mule, Oteil and the Peacemakers, Devon Allman and Honeytribe, Vaylor Trucks' band Bonobos Convergence, and last but not least, the Derek Trucks/Susan Tedeschi Midnight Spectacular!

4) As if that isn't enough, Robert Randolph, Nickel Creek, the Radiators, Rusted Root, etc.

GO! Seriously, you should, you'll like it
