SINCEREST gratitude to The Beacon Hospitality Sweeties, The Left Coast Crew and everyone else who had a hand in putting the weekend pre-show festivities together. It was everything I anticipated and MORE. My first trip to NYC and The Beacon were more than memorable and I'll be floating on the high from it for a while. Thanks again. Y'all a great bunch!!

"Never seen so many adults having fun."

Adults?!? Ha. Your daughter's funny.

Love it when good folks come together at these gatherings. It restores my faith in human kindness and it reminds me not to sweat the small stuff so much.

How many more years will the Brothers be returning to the Beacon?
Hope it doesn't end too soon.

Thanks to everyone that worked so hard to put together
the parties. It was so great to meet everyone and have
fun together. I ended the fun by going to a fantastic Broadway
show yesterday and got home 2:00 this morning.
Thanks again, everyone

Sounds like you first time visitors had a great time in our fair land. I hope to be hearing some reviews of the music, people, food and everything else you guys experienced during your stay. I'm gonna make sure to coordinate my shows next year to when all these festivities take place and all the out of towners are here. Hope you all had a blast and will come back next year.

Pete

Who would have ever thought a bunch of like minded folks would bond over something like great music?? Oh, I know who...Duane Allman.

Yeah, I was the one with beer in hand and smile on face.

Then again, that describes just about everyone I met.

Sorry I missed you, man. Just another reason to go back next year.

Just an absolutely amazing amazing time! I met so many great folks, got to run into a few dear friends, and met some new great friends, but I guess it's what it's all about. Thanks to everyone who hung in there musically all weekend, and thanks for those who personally came up to me with their compliments and well wishes! Indeed a great bunch!

Alan you are the man, you're kids (young ladies) are wonderful, and not many people may know this but there just aren't many who can keep up with you!

thanks to everyone for a great weekend and a great time!

Wasn't at the parties this year, but was able to meet lots of great folks from this site on 3/30..Rusty, Buppalo, multiple Sweeties, Croky, Janne...the list goes on. Made it by far the funnest show of the run for me. I always look forward the Beacon run, but meeting fellow GBers during makes it that much more magic. As everyone says it's great to put a face to a name! My wiife thinks I'm nuts when I come back gushing about meeting all these cool folks that I have heard/seen/read posts of/traded with on the Internet! Already looking forward to next year (or this Summer! )

Yeah, I'm learning today that there were a good many of people at both parties I didn't have the opportunity to meet. One of the only minor regrets of the weekend. That's one of the reasons I wore the "avatar" shirt the first night . . . I wanted to broadcast my identity and hopefully provoke some meetings . . . kind of like drawing flies to honey . . . or drawing flies to ****, depending on what you think of my personality.
