Here in North Carolina I work in our family business. We sell artificial flowers to wholesalers who sell to the florist. My dad bought it back it 1962. The company has been around since 1939. Our business is blooming. I mostly take orders from customers and ship them out. My brother and I do the buying. We determine which styles and colors that we think will sell best.

I have been back with the company for two years which before I was a district manager for Little Debbie. Before that for 18 years I was a sales Manager for different Beer Distributors.............

Its funny...........18 years with Brewers Yeast, another 10 years with Bakers Yeast and now I am still working with Flours..............(Flowers). If you have artificial flowers and didnt get them at Walmart or other mass merchandiser they probably came through us.......

i'm a Director of Information Technology at a small engineering firm in Cherry Hill, NJ. With only 25 computers here total, its just a fancy title for resident computer geek. I need to find another job but they pay me pretty good here, though i'm bored stiff for most of the day and wind up doing secretarial crap more often than i care to. Time off is great, bennies are great, job satisfaction, well.....not so great.

Linnie, the best part of my job is the down time I get. Althought it can be very boring and very unrewarding, I do get lots of time to spend here with good people

Ditto, although I'm not writing fulltime nowadays (haven't been for awhile) -- struggling along with that & another p/t job! Sportswriting has always been my main thing though.

I use to go to the mall in Cherry Hill NJ when I was a kid. My Grandparents had a farm in Jacobstown. My grandmother also lived in Delran, relatives in Morristown, Mt Laurel, Wrightstown.

Logistician for Verizon in the New England area. I manage the materials for our new video build which will provide TV service to compete with the cable companies. The materials I manage are an estimated 41 million dollars. This includes all fiber cable, and the neccesary equipment needed. Also the delivery of these materials to the garages doing the builds in a timely and organized manner.

I'm a civil engineer. Design housing developments, commercial buildings, stores.
I like it. I've worked on some outlet malls (Prime Outlets at Lee, Ma), hotels (Hilton in Lake Placid), large stored (Circuit City in Mt. Laurel, NJ), couple other development in South Jersey.
It's cool to see things you designed get built.

I am an asphalt guru (quality control manager is my title.) Anything you need to know about hot mix asphalt construction, I can probably hook you up. I've been involved in sitework quality control (earth moving, concrete, asphalt and other architectural and civil engineering inspections) for about 27 years now. I couldn't change jobs now if I wanted to. This is all I've ever done.

I've been a stay at home Dad for the last 4 years.Nothing in my life has been more rewarding than raising my daughter.Alas, after Easter vacation it is time to get back into the workforce.I don't expect it to be easy with potential employers asking me why I haven't worked in 4 years.

Previously,I spent 26 years working in facilities for a large book publishing firm.

Brock, if you're a cop, it's cool. We need cops. I know some cool cops. It's narcs I don't care for.

There's a young man I taught Sunday school to 20 years ago and I saw him recently. He had been a cop here before he moved off to ATL. When I saw him recently at his dad's retirement party, he looked like a hippie. I went up to him and said, "So, I guess it's safe to say you're off the force now?" He replied, "No, I'm still a cop, but I'm working under cover." From the gist of our conversation, it sounds like he may be travelling the festival circut gathering info for the feds. It broke my heart that this kid who I have known since he was 12 might be ratting on some of the very people who might be a part of this website or another jam band website.

They're actually expanding & redoing that mall in the near future. I'm not positive on what's being done, but I know it's being expanded.
