Hi All,

Just want to get some opinions from those who are Beacon regulars as to which you might think are better seats, Loge Row B seats 14 & 16, or Lower Balcony Row A seats 2 & 4.

I know the Loge overhangs the Orchestra at row O, and the Lower Balcony overhangs it at row M, but just wondering if anyone has sat in both places & could tell me which is better.

Thanks

Loge is MUCH better. It's much lower and practically like being in front of the stage. Those are awesome seats.

I am a "loge lizard" myself and used to always score row A or B, but the last few years I have been in Row D or more. This year is Row E, maybe I will try the lower balcony next year for the first couple of rows

I've sat in pretty much both locations and I prefer the loge much more from the areas you described.

I'm a Loge ranger myself

And speaking of the loge, I have 2 singles in the loge for sale for 3/29 and 3/30. See the Spare Tickets forum.

Generally speaking I prefer the loge in the first two rows. But it gets real claustrophbic up there. Between the smoke, the packed bodies, and the low ceiling, you are really better in the first couple of rows in the balcony than you are past the first four rows of the loge.

It's nice sitting in the front row, just off center too, but I'd still take the LOGE seats, no doubt about it.

I think the sounds a little better in lobalc, although front loge would be great.

Well it all depends!

Loge is a great view and sound but if you want to boogie forget about it! The main floor and the balcony are the place to be if you want to boogie

I sat in both Loge and Lower Balcony last year and will be doing the same on consequetive nights again this year ... Row A of Lower Balcony is very good, but if it is an either / or case, then I personally would chose Row B of the Loge (and hope that someone short is in front of me )

The Loge provides a much more intimate experience with the Band and the sound is excellent

I've always sat in the upper or lower balcony. I scored row A loge this year for 3/30 and I'm really looking forward to it!

I prefer the Lower Balc for 2 reasons

1)I don't think the difference for being in Loge is worth the $40 difference

2)bathroom accessibility

Loge are the best seats in the house. Take it from someone that has gone to more than eighty shows at the Beacon. Great sound and sightlines. I have the exact Lower Balcony seats you state above (Row A, Seats 2-4) for opening night on Tuesday. They are center and are also very good seats. If you are gonna be in the Balcony those are the best. Can't wait !!!!!!!

Thanks for all the input folks! Looks like I'll probably be going with the Loge seats.

These tix are actually for Steely Dan in May.. I've already got my Allmans tix in Row J of the Orch.

Thanks again for all the opinions!
