Are there any songs currently in the Brothers rotation of songs that you have yet to see live? As of last summer for me it was No One to Run With and DWYNM/INMCTB, but then the Brothers went and encored with no one to run with at jones beach and now its only DWYNM/INMCTB.

I have a friend that complains they don't do "Firing Line" enough. It's his favorite off "Hittin the Note"

I am still waiting to hear "Win Lose or Draw", hopefully soon. "Just Aint Easy" from ER was another one I waited a long time for and got to hear a couple of years ago. Both classic Gregg vocals

I've probably been to about 30 shows, and the one song that gets plenty of rotation I've yet to hear is DWYNM/NMCTB.

I have yet to hear Whipping Post, Mountain Jam, Les Brers, DWYKM/NMCTB, or Black-Hearted Woman. I finally heard Melissa and Hootchie Cootchie Man at Jones Beach this summer. I have heard plenty of Egypt, Revival, No One to Run With and Liz Reed. I have heard Jessica and Dreams exactly once. That's why this year I decided to go to two shows in a row to maxmize my chances of avoiding the same songs.

How funny! Whipping Post/Mountain Jam/Les Brers/DWYKM/NMCTB, and BlackHearted Woman are the songs I ALWAYS, INVARIABLY, hear when I see the ABB. And MELISSA. ALWAYS Melissa!

At this point, the only song I would want to hear them play is Blue Sky. I know I am not the only one who wants to hear this song, and I am a little weary of going to see the ABB and hearing Melissa for the 30th time and still no Blue Sky.

A thousand disclaimers and apologies and I may be wrong here, but from what I can glean, Blue Sky is not played because of a tiff between DB and someone? That's fine but when they played it in Atlanta in 2005, I thought that meant the song was back in rotation.

I hate to tromp on the sacred ground and all, but geez, it would be so nice to hear Blue Sky. At this rate, I am more likely to hear the Mule play it than the ABB.

Even James Taylor broke down and played Fire and Rain.

...Some of you guys are listing songs that aren't in the rotation...yet.
During last years Beacon run they played 90 different songs, but I would say there are about 65 to 70 that you would consider "in the rotation" regularly. I think that is a good number to work with and keeps everyone happy - or almost everyone . A couple of songs may drop off for a tour and then all of a sudden are back in again which is nice too.

Off the top of my head I can't think of any that I haven't seen really...guess I've been lucky. For a while I couldn't seem to catch a "Mountain Jam" for crap - I just kept missing and mssing. Then I got lucky and caught two BEAUTIES at The Beacon and PNC. WE are blessed that this great band keeps changing things up to keep it interesting and exciting for folks that see multiple shows every year which most of us do.

I guess we go to the opposite shows. They seem to be staying away from any songs Dickey sang on. Plus I heard Butch really dislikes Blue Sky (Why I'll never know)

If you've never heard their version of The Carpenters' "Close To You", it's supposed to be in the rotation at The Beacon this year. I hear Gregg and Warren just kill the harmonies when they get to, "On the day that you were born, the Angels got together..............."

I saw that at my last show (my fourth). I have yet to see Elizabeth Reed, which is the last on my list of songs I have to see, the others having been Statesboro Blues, Whipping Post, Dreams, and I don't remember the rest.
