I like his vocals on Soulshine. That is probably my favorite B3 solo I have ever heard.

I had seen Bobby and the Dead do The Same Thing by the time I went to my first ABB show in early 90s at the Beacon. I loved the Bros but never heard them do that. When Warren tore that one up, I knew I stepped in some serious **** . No contest to anyone ever played that one, imho. I seen a lot of the man since then, always love that tune. There's a lot though, otherwise I probably wouldn't be as hooked, right?

Hoochie Coochie Man is my all- time favorite Warren ABB tune, but I agree with the opinions stated above where Woman Across the River is cited as a favorite. I saw two great versions of that song last year, Warren really seems to be into that one of late.

Soulshine and Woman Across The River.

I do love the vocal in The Weight, however.

The Gambler's Roll on Mule's LWALHFOF gives me chills. The 4 CD "collector's edition" is possibly the best musical investment I've ever made.

That album is worth every penny. It is perhaps the best live album ever commercially released and I include the ABB's AFE. I prefer disc 1 with Wandering Child, Mr. Big, 30 Days in the Whole, War Pigs etc. What power and stunning force. And it only picks up steam from there.

I agree 100%. Though I'd probably go with disc 2. Once Chuck and Derek join in, things take off! Actually, the Cortez w/ Marc Ford gives me chills. What the heck, I love the whole thing!

So many of our Mule favorites originated with that show. Like War Pigs and 32-20 Blues for example. That may have also been the first time they did 30 Days. It was also the first time Mule did Soulshine, as incredible as that may now seem.
