Eric will you quit posting that pic of me in front of the burning science building. So I flunked the final. Like you guys have never set fire to a university building.

I don't understand what the Forum statistics mean. Can someone explain? Thanks, T

But who would notice on the way? Just don't chuck them out the window-you might blind an interstate trucker!

OK, Debi bought some of those adult diapers. You guys know how your swimming trunks balloon up when you first get in the water. That is what they look like. She had to buy me size 46 jeans so they would fit. T

Howdy JHawkers!!! Wow, the kingdom just continues to grow (seeing some new names over here - a good thing!)

Crazy, CRAZY weather here. Started Saturday with ice storm then followed up with heavy snow, app. 250,000 (including some of my family and friends) lost power. I've been lucky so far - no power lost, house still warm, and no major trees down on my property (although a LOT of limbs and it appears the top of my apple tree may be sitting on the roof of my garage). There were power lines down up my street and plows have been unable to get through but my 4 wheel drive has come in handy! I am ready for SPRING!!!

This is why you are the king, Tyler - your kindness.

What is this Italy crap, Deb? You go to Italy and we go to RR
LOL - if I have my way I'm planning on doing both! I have friends who visit family in Italy every couple of years for a month but this year they wanted to take some time away from family and explore and they've invited me to meet them over there. So, yes Tyler - making my maiden voyage to Italy. I've contacted somebody from this site (Giovanni who posts here as JohnDrake) to see if he can meet up with us (he lives in Castellmare, we're staying close by in Sorrento) to check out music clubs over there - some ABB networking!!

Sorry piacere - you're on the lifetime kingdom membership list!! Welcome home!

Who's hitting the Beacon,and when?I'll be there 3/24,3/31,and 4/3(so far)..
Welcome to Tyler's place, Bob! My friends and I are doing 4/2 show but we're planning on hitting Lefty's 3/31 BB gig and the weekend parties - hope to meet you there!

Mark, you know once you check in you can't leave.
LOL - kind of like the Hotel California...

susea - loving the pictures from Naples ... looks like paradise (have fun rainy!!! or did she leave last weekend?) BTW - whooo hooo! see your tix mailed!

Mitzi - your Jolie is adorable!!! Looks like she had a nice birthday - love the pics you posted!!!

just wanted to say that i spoke to ER (enlightened rogue) last eve & we are trying to move in the right direction.
Bless your heart, dad ... you are a nice man. Please let ER know that we are all pulling for him. (and thanks for the update).

Erik - as always, you lift me up with your musical treats (Santana & Clapton at Budokan and the Bob Dylan with Garcia - wow). Thanks for being our 007!!! (great pic of your children - how cute!)

DAF - hope things going well with your uncle.

~waving~ to all you JHawkers!!! Have a great week - hope all us Beacon bound folks get a visit from the ticket fairy!

Hi Deb, you're the best! You always think of everyone and have so much good to spread around! We'll keep you around for a long, long time!

Rainy left Sat and I am so wishing to be there right now. I talk daily to one of my guy friends, whom I adore mind you! LOL! I am ready to head back there soooo bad. But I've got to wait. Beacon tickets came today. Wanee should be coming soon!

Matt's Uncle starts treatment tomorrow and I will be praying so hard. He's always on my mind.

Hope everyone has a nice evening.

Hey Mr. DJ, what would you say if I told you today that a show you picked to play made me get on my knees and pray that the music never goes away?

Thanks for the Santana Eric. It moved me. T

The argument has gone on the race car drivers are not athletes. Well yesterday at California 20 osmething David Reutimann's car was hit and turned toward the outside wall. Previously in the race cars entered that corner at 170 mph. After the death of Dale Earnhardt Nascar mandated "black boxes" which owuld record the 'g' force impact on the driver in a crash. Last summer at Poccono Jeff Gordon hit at 60 g's or 60 times your body weight. Jeff Fuller hit at Ky speedway a few weeks later. When asked if he saw the data on the g's he said "yes". When asked if it was near Gordon's, he replied "Way more the Gordon" approx 80 g's. The news just came out that David's crash yesterday was the highest ever recorded in 6 yrs. Early speculation is at or above 100 g's. Check out the video, and yes he is safe and ok except a bruised foot.

hey all--hope everyone has a nice day....not in a good place last nite & today emotionally or spiritually--i'm emotionally tired & yesterday brought up the trauma of some things that have been attempting to destroy my soul & spirit---there are great people here & in my life, but yesterday was an encounter with the garbage of the world & i'm too damn old & tired to cope with that...particularly given my escape from that since june 06 when i left my last job...just can't handle people in my business who are there for their egos or who put PR concerns before people...sorry for this crazyness, but i'm in a rough place right now & don't want to be back where i've been....sorry for burdening you--i just don't quite know where to tun withouy dumping my pain on others...so i came here hoping that typing it out would, witrh some good music would move me back to what i need to do to deal with this...most of it now is worry, but given the past,it leads to more worry & sadness than is probably neccessary...sorry again for dumping this here..hope you all have a good day & feels well...sorry again--don't wanna be a downer to you all,but i trust you'll,hopefully tolerate my spewing this stuff...forgive me for the dumping....

susea - would love to have a copy of this ... especially after all the rave reviews I've read on it! Thanks sister! PM sent.

Well - official happy dance has started...tix to Beacon received yesterday! (Can't believe the mailman was able to find my mailbox as it is now burried under some huge bushes which are drastically bent over with snow but I got lucky and he searched it out and tix are in hand!!! WHOOO HOOOO!)

Thanks, Mitzi!! I'm pretty excited! Need to get a digital camera so I can post some pics. Re: NYC - you betcha we'll be meeting in person! (and crossing my fingers on the RR dates but have no cause for complaints regardless...)

Thanks for the Santana Eric. It moved me. T
Tyler - I am with you on the Santana...think the closest I've gotten to a religious experience at a concert was one night with Santana - he had me in tears. I was self-conscioius until I looked over and saw my boyfriend and friends were on the same plane as I was. And this is why I love music so - anything that can make one feel like this must be holy - like susea says...the Joy the Music Brings.

Thanks, Eric, for spreading this joy around to so many.

~waving~ to all you fine JHawkers!!! Have wonderful days, all!
