We hope they will come, but be gone by the end of August. I have never seen Snowmass have a lineup like this-usually a blues artist plus pop folks. So, I have never gone. It is an overnighter from here (31/2 hours), so I still may not go if they are doing Red Rocks around the same time. Not that I don't want to, but will need a dog/house sitter, and a room up there as well as the tickets. ____________________

| Sue--the blown to mars & still going zone--i can't explain hoe DEREK & WARREN played at the level & intensity,the new arrangements & jams,the funky intro to done somebody wrong,GREGG's singing & playing were spiritual.....what music----& Ed you're right--it will get even better..... ____________________

BTW, if you get a chance, checkout video of UN sec'y general and Iraqi PM at press conf. in Baghdad yesterday.Katyusha rocket explodes about 100 yds from podium, scaring the bejeezus out of UN SG and Iraqi PM does NOT even flinch...the middle east;what a nightmare

Ruth, me giving meaningful advice on marriage is like Gadhi giving advice on how to cook a steak.....lmao. your advice is much better, far too often it is easy for people to walk away....not saying that it is the easy way, but it sure isnt THAT hard. The thing that stinks for me is that my ex is a good, close friend of mine, and i was with him longer than i was with my family of origin!
anywho, on a different note,
if i was any more excited about the damn beacon run i'd barf in my shoes. i need to lay off the coffee. Starting up with "In a Silent Way" has got me juiced.....derek musta sounded WONDERFUL on that. holy cow. My ex had that record and i would listen to it all the time....i didnt own it till this morning when i got it off of Amazon, hopefully it will be here by the time i leave for NYC!

Linnie, first off, nice lineup you got goin there ...and b, my ex and I are good friends as well now and that was after 18 yrs married.One thing I've learned in my 3 yrs divorced is that everyone's story is unique.No 2 the same.

Hi all
Thank you all for the prayers,thoughts,vibes,and hugs concerning my mother.I'm going to see her tonight,so I'll know more then.She's 80,diabetic,and last time had to stop one chemo treatment short because of her heart.It's kind of weird to write that because I've always thought of her as such a strong woman.At least she's still strong in spirit,and this being the 5th time(Thank God 4 for 4 survival) this awful disease has struck my immediate family,I know how important that is.
