Hi Matt, Glad to hear so far so good with Gush. Getting away too, that means he's feeling OK.

Jack, this is going to be unbelievable. What about your company coming to stay? That may make it tough for you to get away? I'll be we get the Red Rocks dates too.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------
We hope they will come, but be gone by the end of August. I have never seen Snowmass have a lineup like this-usually a blues artist plus pop folks. So, I have never gone. It is an overnighter from here (31/2 hours), so I still may not go if they are doing Red Rocks around the same time. Not that I don't want to, but will need a dog/house sitter, and a room up there as well as the tickets.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you want my review--check out the thread on burning all nite...something like that--i'll bump it up if you can't find it....i just don't have a clue about attaching suff from prior posts or other threads---computer idiot i am ------but try to read it---this was historic----i cover some highlights---no guests were there & none needed...this was the ABB at it's finest....how will this be topped---no comparison to a lackluster tuesday show---got to speak to Brian & waved to Oteil & he gave me a nice smile & thumbs up----THE MUSIC TONITE WAS THE HEIGHT OF HOLINESS

Glad it was that good Effie, I also expect it will actually rise to higher levels, so hold on tight. I'll be there next Tuesday night, so hopefully the magic will continue to flow.

Ruth, me giving meaningful advice on marriage is like Gadhi giving advice on how to cook a steak.....lmao. your advice is much better, far too often it is easy for people to walk away....not saying that it is the easy way, but it sure isnt THAT hard. The thing that stinks for me is that my ex is a good, close friend of mine, and i was with him longer than i was with my family of origin!

anywho, on a different note,

if i was any more excited about the damn beacon run i'd barf in my shoes. i need to lay off the coffee. Starting up with "In a Silent Way" has got me juiced.....derek musta sounded WONDERFUL on that. holy cow. My ex had that record and i would listen to it all the time....i didnt own it till this morning when i got it off of Amazon, hopefully it will be here by the time i leave for NYC!

HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE! If you see me floating up the NJ Turnpike, please do me a favor and try to tether me down....i'm already waaaaay over stimulated!

3/31 - Beacon ABB
4/6 - Widespread Panic, DC
4/7 - ABB, Beacon
4/15-4/16 - Wanee
4/20 - Stephen Stills
4/26 Merle Fest

OH MY GOD, pinch me.

also, one more thing - i met mister MATTHEBERT from our site last night, what a great guy! awesome musican, though a bit heavier than most here would enjoy. him and his buddies had me lmao for an hour or two..... I've yet to meet an ass from this site! its a damn miracle.

peace out!

Jello JHawkers!!! (not a mis-spell...just a hint of things to come for those Beacon bound)

Eric - I'm with mitzi ... you've always been a true peach in my eyes! Thanks for all the music, friend. (hope things going smoother on home front)

quote:
Jack, Thanks for asking about Billy. He seems better. He is eating again and asking for raisins, his favorite treat.
LOL - ruthie, I got such a cute visual out of this (imagining Billy vocally asking for more raisins)! Made me think of my nephew - when he was small my sis didn't let him have candy and he always though raisins (you know - in those little boxes) were the same thing ("Mommy, can I have some raisin candy?"). Glad to hear Billy still packing in the raisins!

Effie - LOVE the reviews of last night's show!!! Wow! Didn't think it was possible, but I believe you've now gotten me even MORE excited for next couple of weeks!!! (And I was happy to hear that no Depends were harmed in the course of the night )

quote:

LMAO! Linnie, hope you don't mind but I'm adding this to my list of clever replys Thanks for the chuckle!

quote:
SPLAT* <---------- I'VE JUST EXPLODED!
LOL - Clean up on aisle 12! (mitzi, do you have any spare towels or are you hoarding them for next week??? )

susea and Jack - that JAS line-up is to die for! Hope you both get to make that one! I've always wanted to do Telluride for one of their music fests...someday...

Tyler and Debi - continuing to keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Happy to hear that contact re-established and hoping things continue to get better there.

~waving~ to all and wishing you great days!
People! Can YOU feel it?!?!?!

Hi all

Thank you all for the prayers, thoughts, vibes, and hugs concerning my mother.I'm going to see her tonight,so I'll know more then. She's 80,diabetic,and last time had to stop one chemo treatment short because of her heart. It's kind of weird to write that because I've always thought of her as such a strong woman. At least she's still strong in spirit, and this being the 5th time(Thank God 4 for 4 survival) this awful disease has struck my immediate family,I know how important that is.

Thinking of you all and hope everyone is well
