An update about our very own Don. He had his first shot today. First in a series of three. There is pain involved which he will have to handle for the next 3-4 days. His nephew was on the computer doing academic things so he told me to give you all the news.

Tyler, thanks for the Don update! If you talk to him again you send our love. I'm beginning my 'No Don Pain' mantra and hope he's feeling well soon.

Evening Dutch! Got those kids under control?

Matt - please don't stay away because you don't feel like you have anything to contribute ... it hasn't stopped any of the rest of us! I guess Beacon has kind of got some of us in an "I'm 5 and I'm going to Disneyland" frame of mind - please humor us and stick around here! LOL Keep up the good work attending to the school stuff, though.

Eric - believe it or not, have never seen South Park (but am aware of the show). Not a conscious decision, have just never caught an episode.

I'm with you there Deb ... think back to Woodstock and the "No Rain" chant at the beginning of the Santana set ... then start chanting "No Pain, No Pain, No Pain ...."

That's what I was thinking, Colin! I even have a little dance I like to perform with this particular chant! BTW - will do a drive by at the local Target and see if I can't find that For Our Fathers for you.

Oh Good! I just wanted to make sure you didn't have to run around looking for a Target while in NYC (afraid it might cut into your Yogi time ) See you in a couple of weeks!

Howdy Dutch.

Matt, I feel the same way. Your posts are always special because they come from a younger perspective. But take care of your school work first. Take advise from an ex-teacher.

Thanks to everyone for your kind and encouraging comments. It means a lot to me.
Comments regarding family or friends who have had similar problems are helpful.

Sang and Harvey are new to me and I appreciate your comments.

Deb I've been told by all doctors it is highly unlikely I will need any radiation. Also my knee feels 100% better for now but it will wear off after a few months.

Billy The Kid has been doing good today trying to live up to his name.

Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts for me.

Ruthie

I have not taught high school since 1999. I am rusty on my spelling. I am sorry.

I will not post again until I have brushed up on my writing. Sorry

Don, sending prayers your way my friend! Matt, we will meet and hopefully before the summer shows!

Dad, I noticed they have canceled schools and the snow hasn't started yet. But if it gets nasty like they say, we'd be glad they did that. Thank goodness the Beacon run doesn't start this weekend. Wouldn't be good air travel nor foot travel for that matter!!! Come on those warm southern breezes!!!!

Big news to announce for the Peacheaters today!!! LEFTY COLLINS will be making a very special appearance for April 6TH and 7TH on Nantucket at the Chicken Box http://www.thechickenbox.com/ YEAH!!!!!

Morning All

Wow, Effie, I thought it was just my kids school district that overreacted to a little rain/snow. I guess bad decisions are everywhere.

Lots of rain along the coast here, but things could change.

Susea, my kids are moving along ok today, my son is usual the one who does what needs to be done without prodding from me. My daughter on the other hand is usually the one who needs to be pushed/pulled to get her moving.

Off I go
Later

Thanks for the tip ... I like a bit of Neil Young so it will give me something to look out for when I am in NYC as CD's over there are about 1/2 to 2/3 the price of what they are here in the UK.

Have a good day everybody ... in half an hour I am off to London for the afternoon and this evening I will be going to the Royal Albert Hall to see a Canadian Band called "Musical Box" who will be recreating the 1973 Genesis stage show of "Selling England By The Pound"
