Eric, you must not have checked my PM. It's Playin' Dead tonight not the Peacheaters. But you know you won't be disappointed. I'll be heading out in 10 min. See you there.

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't checked in since I came back. I had a busy day today. Basketball team made it to the finals, as a 6th seed (7 teams). I also watched the Departed, great movie. Hope everyone had a great day. I have 2 basketball games tomorrow (Finals and Allstar Game), so I probably won't be on until later.

Have a good day Y'all

-Matt

Hello and good evening to everybody.
I was out most of the day. Physical therapy in the AM
then met my daughter for lunch in a little Cuban cafe we like.

Thanks for asking about my baby, Billy(Billy the Kid). He was in rare form today for such an old guy. He has gotten up a couple of times to run around the house and yesterday he
tried to bite one of the cats' ears, but he was too slow. He has lost weight and his muscles are wasting away. He has seen several vets and cardiac vets. Last week our regular vet said none of
the group could believe Billy is still alive. They say 'this ferret is amazing' because he is still hanging
on. Everyday he is here is a blessing.

Mitzi, so glad to hear little Jolie is getting better. The show you went to last night sounds like fun.

Happy up coming Anniversary to each Eileen and Uponthe2nd. We will celebrate 37 years in May.

We'll be in NYC for the Beacon the first week of April. New Yorkers what kind of weather should we expect. I noticed you called 50 degrees a warm day. We would turn the heater on and pull out sweaters and extra blankets. I'm in South Florida.

Hello or maybe goodnight to Tyler, Sue, Deb, No1, Jack, 2ndFloor,DZ, and everybody I couldn't remember names for.
A big S. Florida hug to all and I'm happy to be in this group.
Ruthie

morning all!

hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday, im about to get oustide now and enjoy it.

hey, i have a question for the girls. if this seems odd, well, its because....it is.

i must have bumped my big toe, because the stupid nail fell off. So, what they hell do i do about a pedicure? Seriously....what the hell? do i get the other 9 painted and leave the big one out? or, no polish? what gives. how long does it take for these things to grow back?

ok, thank you....if i had a sister or a mom to call i totally would but dont, so i appreciate your input into my big toe conundrum.

Linnie, I have never had that happen. The nail is completely off? It must be so sore I would imagine? I don't know that I'd want to put nail polish on the skin but I wonder if you can buy a fake nail the size of the big toe nail to put on till the real one grows out again! LOL! Not that it's funny but I couldn't help but chuckle a little bit.

Ouch ! Linnie, no kidding doesn't that hurt ??? I would definitely not put polish on that toe... I like Susea's Idea... but then again glue on the skin.. that might be a no,no... You don't remember hitting that toe ??? I would guess it grows back alittle at a time... probably about 3 months it should be all grown in... Are your shoes tight ?? I know I stand on my feet all day ( retail world ) and I love pointy toed shoes.. both my big toe nails ...just looked weird for awhile.... I put nail moisturizer on them every night and it got better.... I sorta gave up on the pointy shoes...damn..

Susea and ya know just how much I love Mr.Betts ... So you had a great time last night, great music and hangin with the guys...My kinda girl... How is Eric doing, today ??

Hope everyone has a blue sky sunday....

Good morning all! Rainy, I wish I could say it's a BLUE SKY day here...but it's not. It's RAINY! All BETTS are off on any sunshine. Ok, Sue...you got me started! hehehehe

Happy anniversaries Up and Eileen!

Linnie, hon, I don't know what to tell you. I've never had that problem. I'd stay away from the polish if it is sore. But I have heard of women putting polish on the skin.

Dad, sounds like it was an awesome show!!

Hi Ruthie! Prayers and vibes to Billy!

Congrats, Matt! And good luck!

Thanks again for all the well wishes for Miss Jolie. She's doing much better now. It's hard for her to swallow of course, and at night she has trouble breathing. But she's on antibiotics and ibuprofen, so things are going to get better.

Hope everyone has a good day. Good vibes to all!

Hi all!

deezee,I remember you saying you lived in Westbury on some horse racing threads last year.Although Beacon fever is at a pitch,I also feel Belmont fever creeping in.I didn't know you used to work at Shea. You'll have to tell me about it some time

Ruth,As deezee said, the weather can vary a great deal up here at that time.I've seen snow and I've seen 70s in early April. What show(s) are you going to?

Matt,Good Luck with the hoops

Mitzi, glad to hear Jolie is coming along

Dad,Eric, and Susea,Sounds like you all had a good time last night

Linnie,OK,I really can't tell you about pedicures, but having lost my big toenails a few times(sports related) I can tell you this.First of all, that nail probably broke at least a week ago(probably longer). They usually break under the skin and don't fall off until they grow out from under it.I'm surprised it didn't start turning black and blue when you originally did it.It usually takes 4-12 weeks to completely grow back.My nails grow fast, some people's don't.Of course, you may have done something completely different than the injuries I used to get so it may be different for you.You get used to not having a nail there pretty quickly.Hope you feel better.

Hope everyone is doing well.Almost time to start the Chili.

Hi everybody. Hope all is well. Phyllis had a good day at her show yesterday to the point that she was making new jewelry last night so she would have enough inventory with her. Very hectic, but she was excited. I'm going over soon to let her shop and then help her pack up after the show. Her website is not up to date right now because everything is one of a kind, so she needs update.
Beautiful spring day in Denver today-mid 60's with 70 forecast for tomorrow.
