You having a good day Ruthie? Tyler

Tyler, thank you so much for asking. This is a very fine group of people here and I would
be proud to have you as a friend. I spent the day with my daughter so yes it was a pleasant
day. I have some medical issues I'm dealing with and I sometimes feel alone even in a crowd.
Again, thank you for the welcome and have a good weekend.

When I first head this I thought it fit me perfectly. I still do this everymorning while getting ready for work.

Boston
"More Than A Feeling"

I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
Turned on some music to start my day
I lost myself in a familiar song
I closed my eyes and I slipped away

Good morning folks, Effie ,enjoy the Johnny Winter/Leon Russell show tonite.Hope this finds you feelin better.
Shame about Brad Delp.I,too, was fascinated with Boston when they hit the scene.Being a guitar guy, their sound was amazing from the 1st time I heard them. And Delp's vocals were the perfect balance to their power sound.
I can't begin to explain how cool it is to see all the new posters here. When I originally came on,there were about 7 or 8 folks posting. Now, there's gotta be close to 20 or so and we "keep on growin".
Waving hello to all the JHers and have a fine and safe weekend

Oteil is awesome!! Can't wait to get a taste of his band live again soon! At Red Rocks the Bass went through you like no one could even imagine unless you were there to witness it!!! The stage volume is incredible!!! Then when he came on with the Brothers I was right in front of him for the Fri night show and we both had on the same Hittin' The Note fleece!! Hehehe! I got mine last year at the Beacon Hospitality party and I wear it all the time.

I am so bummed about Brad Delp. I have seen him many, many times with his band Beatlejuice and it is such a shame to lose him at a young age.

Good afternoon all. My my my! It's been active here. hehehe LOVE IT! Hey Hooch!! I look forward to meetin you in 3 weeks. Well...actually 20 days. I will be setting foot in NYC on Friday March 30. OH BOY!!

Jack, you know I'll be there for the Red Rocks party. No way I'd miss that one. Especially since the King will be there to play for us. I gotta hear that. AND I wouldn't miss those wheelchair tricks for nothin'.

Ok, Dad. Full report por favor!

Thanks for all the good wishes for Miss Jolie. Turns out she has strep throat. But she's feelin' a whole lot better today.

I went to see the Roy Orbison tribute show last night. Being from the same area he was from, we tend to take Roy very seriously. hehehe The impersonator is from England. He also did a Jerry Lee Lewis act to open the show. That was freakin' hilarious. He entered from the back of the theater and when he'd pass by a woman, he'd grab her and act like he was kissin' on her. Too funny. Then he'd strut down the isle, comb his hair, and take a drink out of a flask. LOL! His Roy act was pretty good. Just can't hit those notes like Roy did, though. But...it was fun.

Ok, hello to EVERYBODY!!! I'll be checkin' in later.

Hey Sue! I think the bail fund is very substantial now. No worries! LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!

Hi Eileen,I'm in Astoria.April 2nd will be 18 years for us.The Beacon run usually doesn't interfere with it.Haven't eaten in Don Pepe's in a long time, but I used to like it.My wife grew up in Howard Beach so she wasn't far from it.I think you're talking about Parkside in Corona, and yes it's a very good restaurant.

Hi everyone. I hope all are well or getting better at least. Are you feeling better this week Effie? Tyler, are things calmed back down with Kristen and your homefront? I hope it is at least back to calm, just for your mental health! Ruth, I hope your medical problems disappear for you. You may have noticed that a number of us around here are a gimpy lot! I think Matt must wonder about the old folks talking about their physical problems, and wonder how did he hook up here.
Phyllis is working a show called the Spring Fling today and tomorrow and things must be going well. She called and said her inventory was low, and she had to work tonight just to have enough for tomorrow's show. Sounds much better then the shows where you just hope to recoup your entry fee! She had been getting disappointed, and maybe this will pick her up again as far as jewelery making.

Cloudy here today, but it has been in the low 60's and Monday is supposed to be 70! I ache less when it is warmer, so I love it. Glad to hear it is perking up other places also. I promise not to complain about the heat this summer (haha).
DZ, I like Droughns and I hear NY wants to platoon him, and I think he'll do great. UOT2, I have liked the Broncs additions and only lament letting Kearney get away, but Shanny is still dealing.
