Thank you . . . made my afternoon

Wow, looked who jumped into the Diary-Staci of the hospitality sweeties! another of the group I met at my first Beacon. Welcome.

Hey there smiley Can't believe you're not coming . . . and Ernie too for that matter I've got the fever

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------
If it were not for a severe cash flow problem, I'd be there. I don't tire of saying the Beacon shows are the best of the year (because of setlists and guests), and the parties are a fantastick plus to the music. I'll regret not being there to walk out of 'the smoking room' with an illegal grin and bump into someone I only know from from posting on the website. Last year one of the people I bumped into was Butch!!!!!
I had consoled myself with thoughts of Moogis, and now that is gone also. I really hope for a 2 day Red Rocks! I talked to Ernie yesterday, and he is bummed out also.

Well, I am hoping that maybe this year we make it out for Red Rocks . . . I just bought a new truck and the official color is "Red Rock Metallic" . . . .I have taken that as a sign And, since our party is in the conf room this year . . . no smoking room Like that will stop us Here's hoping you make it to Beacon next year . . . Send Phyllis my hello's Do you ever talk to Big Mike??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------
Well, I plan on doing a Red Rocks party again so I hope you make it.
LOL, the smoking room winds up being wherever I go!!!! Big Mike moved here just a month or two ago and I just spoke with him. He came with us wed. night to see Clapton/Derek at the Pepsi center in Denver. Mike met an old friend of ours (Phyllis worked with her way back when they were 18-19-about 40 years ago!) whose name is Lenore, the very first year I met you all at the Beacon, and started dating her long distance (he was in Florida and she was in NJ). He eventually moved back to Philly and they were still seeing each other on and off. Last year they became more 'on' again, and Mike moved here (Lenore moved here this past fall) last month and is living with Lenore. He took a job driving a cab here for quick money as he learns his way around Denver.

And I was going to say that Linnie probably doesn't appreciate the halter topped (barely) beertenders like maybe some of the guys. I find the charm grows by the hour, LOL! The year Ernie came with us he went to meet Big Rich at Yogi's in the morning to pick up a ticket from Rich. Bad mistake! Rich drank him under the table and Ernie went to bed about 2-3 in the afternoon so he could make the show that night! I don't think Derek Truck's dad and grandpa left Yogi's that much last year! I saw them at breakfast my 3rd and last day there and they were both still in the same clothes as 3 days earlier! They talked about Yogi's!

Jack, I won't be a sloppy drunk because I can't drink.

I will smoke marijuana even if I can't spell it. I have been known to enjoy the effects of the dreaded drug.

I will do wheelchair tricks.

Finally, on Web MD. they did some research and trips to RR boost your immune system.

It bothers me when people don't feel comfortable on the diary. Doesn't it bother you too Sue? They don't get much better that Sue. That goes for everyone.

You having a good day Ruthie? Tyler

LOL - good information to have Tyler! Believe I'm coming down with a cold - could use an immune boost! (btw - Go Jayhawks!!! from a former Kansas girl)

Did anybody try for the new Beacon tix Lana announced were released by TM? Just interested in seeing what type of seats were being offered.

Busy work day for me but wanted to swing by here and give everybody a ~wave~ before taking off (hopefully for the weekend...just took a quick look at my next project, though, and I'm seeing weenends and evenings in my future...sigh).

Loving the Ray LaMontagne stuff - I must have some of this in my collection! Any suggestions? Thanks Eric, for the links, and Linnie, Hootchie, mitzi for the rave reviews that are sending me to my local record store.

Mitzie - hoping Jolie is feeling better! so sad when the little one's get sick.

susea - last song I heard before walking into work today was The Feeling Music Brings off that Berklee show - WOW! Made me want to put on my choir robe and sing Hallelujah!!!

Good to see you over here in the Diary, Hootchie! Hoping to meet you around the parties come Beacon (my 1st Beacon!!! happy dance happy dance!)

Ruthie - glad to see you back around here, too! And you, Linnie. And Bob, and Eileen, and susea, and Jack, and Eric, and Tyler, and Debi, and Budha, and rainy, and you, and you, and you! (I believe the term is all y'all)

Have great weekends all! It's supposed to be warmer here this weekend - gonna get my hiking boots out and treat myself to a nice long walk outside with Ms. Lola!
