The last time these two played together!

Doc's Sports Bar June 3rd, 2006

I am here to say that the Peacheaters are the real deal!!! They commanded the stage at Doc's Sports Bar. Being from that town I have never, never seen the place so full of energy it was truely amazing. Let me start off by saying Playin' Dead set the tone for a great night, they were tight and had the {{vibe}}} going early. Peacheaters opened with Statesboro, and the place exploded! Other songs (I had a about 9 Heineken so if I forget any sorry) done in no particular order were One Way Out, Melissa, Desdemona, Jessica, Blue Sky which they killed this!!) Crowd all night was singing along and {{vibing}} with the band. The highlight of the night was a "Franklin's Tower" with Playin' Dead, a true jam that brought the show to another level. Followed this by Southbound and Goin Down the Road! Check these guys out you will not be disappointed at all! Period end of story.

Guys thanks for the cool stuff, great meeting new people before the show, and again you guys kicked some serious a$$!!

http://www.archive.org/details/pd2005-12-23.sbd.shn (Playin Dead)
Listen to this, amazing how they close they sound to the Dead

Playin Dead Setlist was....
Dedication to Vince Welnick (Keyboardist who died )
Touch of Gray
Feel Like a Stranger
Cumberland Blues
Samson and Delilah
Browneyed Women
Estimated Prophet ->
Foolish Heart ->
Throwin' Stones ->
Black Peter ->
One More Saturday Night

Jam with the Peacheaters:
Drums ->
Franlkin's Tower ->
Southbound ->
Bertha ->
Goin' Down the Road (Feeling Bad)

Peacheaters Kicked A$$!!!!

ok, hope everyone is doing good, i'm abut to take a 'field trip' (the long way too) to pick up some computer equipment.....everyone have a great day and i hope everyone feels good today!

Took me three years and another screenname to find the trades section! From Aug 04 to Feb 05 I collected about 200 shows. I needed to catch up.

Linnie I sent you a pic of my cd's in a pm. I could have told you. I use photobucket. What I need to find now is a place to hold a WAV sample so when I offer a show I can attach a clip of it. That would be cool. They do it on dime all the time. That is good to hear something before you decide to download or b/p something.

Dad, Linnie, Peteman, myself and RobFilm are doing a jazz music thread. B/p and maybe a freebie if you are good. I started with a SBD from Mingus in Buenos Aires. Go to the Derek Forum under Jazz Music. Rob says he has a 11 disc Herbie Hancock set. I am in the process of downloading a 12 discs Coltrane Live From Underground now. Pete has some Coltrane, the Helsinki you liked.

Hi all.

Dad,sorry you're having a bad day.I didn't know about the MS.My wife and daughter do the MS walk every year.They usually do Manhattan,but they're doing Jones Beach this year.

Kind of mad at myself right now.I was going to go for the free Warren tickets this morning but a combination of upsetting the household's morning schedule and the weather held me back.The biggest reason was in combination with those two,I didn't want to get there and there were none left.I just read that they still had some at lunchtime.Oh well.

Hope everbody's OK,especilly the situation at Tyler's.

Matt head down / up / sideways to the Vines section. I just signed up for 5 different vines for shows Beacon 98. Some great stuff down / up / sideways there. Good way to build your collection.

Effie, I hope this finds you feeling better. I hate to hear of the diary family and ABB brotherhood hurting-it hurts me to know that, so feel better.

Where is Doc's? I have never heard of it. 8 P.M right. I would probably have to check with the rents. They might not let me go.

Dad- Sorry to hear about your condition. Please stay healthy and keep us informed.

Take 126 thru Holliston toward Milford. At Pago Pago in Milford go straight and Doc's is on the right 500'. Also can take exit 20 off 495. Take left toward Lowes and Target. At end you see Pago Pago in front take right Doc's 500' on right

Jeez, Seems kind of far. I'll get back to you. I have basketball playoffs saturday and sunday, so I might not be able to go.

One question about vines. Once you get the show, do you re-mail it in the original envelope? Do you need to Add stamps? I guess why I am a little hesitant about this stuff, because I dont know much about postage and stamps. I always thought a stamp was a stamp and dont know a thing about how first class mail works.

Hello JHawkers - feel like I've been a lost soul lately! Took me awhile to go back and check on the happenings for you all.

LaPeche - Lola is a Rottweiller. She is a sweety - just a big baby, loves people and on the small side for a Rott.

Bob - I'll have 2 others with me so I think we may be able to handle a pie...have to hit John's after we've done some travelling and worked up our appetite. Thanks for your tip!

susea - I was gone on the actual day but Happy Birthday sister!!! Hope you had a great day and a good year ahead of you (hmmm - Beacon then Wanee seems a fine way to start the year - LOL) (BTW - sorry to hear about your friends passing, susea - prayers being sent your way) Ohohoh - I was in just the pissiest mood this morning (usually I'm a happy morning person but the job is driving me mad) and I got in my vehicle and placed some BERKLEE in the cd deck and viola...instant smile!!! Thank you very much, susea, for sharing this musical marvel. I will pay it forward when I can get copies made and you were right on - it is that good! Grazie!

mitzi - yea!!! You've got those plane tickets - was worried how you were going to be able to hitch hike what with the tent, the B3, all that oxygen, ice, and towels. Yep - plane is definitely the way to go!

Tyler - hope you are feeling well and hope Debi is doing well, too. Loved the pic of your puppy (I'm a sucker for dogs!) But I'm way concerned about the situation with Kristen and Skylar!!! Glad they are safe with you and that the a-hole is sitting a 50,000 bond - hope that keeps him in jail. Does Kristen have a restraining order? Because she definitely needs one with this guy. I have just seen/experienced too much violence against women and it is a tragic road to tread. And having weapons involved just makes it worse. I'll be saying prayers for your family and especially Kristen, that she finds the strength to get away and stay away. You and Debi stay strong.

quote:
When he died I could not even say his name for over a year without crying-OK, now you all know what a big crybaby I am now.
Not a crybaby, Jack, just a loving individual. I know I'll be basket case when the time comes for my Lola but I believe I will have another pet in the future - I just enjoy their companionship too much not to have them in my life. BTW - Looks like you and the family have an excellent trip planned - those white sand beaches look mighty enticing. Thanks for sharing Phyllis's web site - I will confess to being a major jewerly freak so she will probably be hearing from me (and if it's ok I have some friends I'd like to share this with). Loved the pork chop bone and nail polish bio - LOL!

quote:
i plan on doing a whole piece just on you Snag..... perhaps an interpretive dance.....
Oh no you didn't just say that!!! LMAO Linnie!!! Will this involve park benches? And will it include appropriate warnings (may not be suitable for young viewers)? Maybe Droogie will pitch in and Haiku while you dance LOL! Glad to hear that you got the a-ok on your previous staph infection, Linnie!! Good to see you here in Tyler's house!

quote:
so,DEB,are you safely home----
Dad - thanks for asking...yes I did make it safely home. To tell the truth, it was a wussy storm by Des Moines standards but the boss kicked my butt out and they kept the office closed the next day (which really puzzled me because the have a 4-wheel drive brigade to go out and treck people into work who are considered necessary). I took advantage - rented some movies and enjoyed the time off (paid). Hope you are feeling better Effie - sounds like you've not been feeling up to par lately due to the MS and I hopehopehope this improves for you. Save your strength - you have some major musical doings coming up here, friend! And new friends to meet!

Welcome back rainy! Wishing you were still on those Naples beaches??? Hope you didn't have too cold of a shock awaiting you on return.

Eric - thanks as alway 007 for the amazing tunage!!!

Book finished and ~waving~ to all you JHawkers mentioned above and elsewhere (like you DZ, and Matt, and piacere, and Sang, and Barb, and ...)!

Yes, but if is ripped then just do it in a new mailer.

Do you need to Add stamps?

Yes, Unless they are magic (not stamped by post office) otherwise add 1 or 2 stamps. The 41 or 43 cent ones now.

Any other ? just pm me
