Just saw this. Stay strong David!

David Crosby illness stops trio's tour
Iain Shedden
February 06, 2007

HE is one of rock 'n' roll's great survivors, but David Crosby's ill health has forced legendary folk-rock trio Crosby, Stills and Nash to postpone their tour of Australia. Crosby, 65, who suffers from diabetes, heart disease and hepatitis C, has contracted pneumonia, according to the American band's Australian publicist, Chrissie Camp, and he is unable to travel.
The announcement comes two weeks before the group was to begin its first tour here in almost 20 years. Crosby, Stills and Nash, who had a string of hits during the Woodstock era of the 60s and 70s, including Marrakesh Express, Wooden Ships and Long Time Gone, were scheduled to begin their tour in Perth on February 17.

All dates for the tour have been rescheduled for December. Tickets already purchased will be valid for the new shows or the money refunded.

Most dates for the CRosby/Nash tour have been cancelled

Good wishes to the big guy for a speedy recovery .....

Saw CSN here in the UK in 05 and they were excellent ... maybe some of the high notes were a bit more strained ... but they put on a wonderful show and had my wife and me in tears of happy nostalgia by the end

When David is well again ... if they come by your way make sure you go and see them!!!

Healing prayers going out to David Crosby. He IS a survivor - hoping that serves him well here and that he'll be feeling well and singing sweetly soon.
(dad - just got this book myself but haven't had a chance to crack the cover yet. Good read?)

Thanks for this tip, John. I'll have to give it a listen. I've always thought that David Crosby (and Graham Nash, for that matter) provided some of the sweetest vocals in Rock.

BEST wishes to the Cros -- he and Graham had shows scheduled in April up NE way in Portland Maine, & Worcester Mass.
JohnWott, is that new CD you're referring to a two-disc set? That's the most recent thing I was aware of by David & Graham -- whose blended vocals indeed make some of the sweetest music I've ever heard -- A Critical Mass/To The Last Whale, from their 1975 album -- brilliant stuff from a great album -- I played that a lot more than the Stills/Young "Long May You Run" album which came out shortly afterwards -- but, "it ain't no competition" as they say
Get well soon David.
