So 5/5 Jazz Fest we know...

I'm only hoping they take the opportunity to do a couple tx shows since they'll be so close...and it's been awhile

Haha, sorry if it's already been discussed to death - didn't see any threads in the first few pages...

We've been hearing that the band will tour in August/September, but that Jazz Fest date may well be the last gig they do until August.

Did I hear TEXAS???? Yes, that would be nice. But my esteemed colleague, RobJohnson is correct. The word is no shows after Jazz Fest until August.

Soiux City is one beautiful town on the beautiful mighty Missouri River, before it turns to chocolate milk somewhere in Nebraska.

The Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Festival, JazzFest, will be held July 20-21, 2007 at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls, SD. The festival is free and features two stages with over 18 hours of music.

Hai - you're right ... Sioux Falls is pretty (especially around the Falls area). Sioux City, on the other hand is in IA but they do have an excellent festival (for free) in the summer - was lucky to catch ABB, Susan Tedeschi, and Paul Simon one summer up there.

Here's my wish list - ABB make an appearance at the 10000 Lakes Fest (Govt. Mule and Derek Trucks band will already be there...)

In years past, have there been HTW presales for summer tours? Or, should we expect one this yr?

I can bet they will be up in New England toward the end of Aug, they always are. Sadly only one show. Any they will most likely close with Whipping Post like they have for 4 out of 7 years, that to me gets old and takes away from the excitement. In 2002 they ended with Mtn Jm that was cool.

Good time, that one was.
Looking at the picture, I'm to the right with a blue shirt and sunglasses, I think I had just said "Brendan, smile for the camera", so thats why he has his back turned.
Always a good time Chuck

Kinda looks like a great time - now I understand those Warfstock pre-party nominations!

Ok, both Govt' Mule and Derek Trucks band will be at the 10000 Lakes festival and we're being told that not all bands have been announced...oh yoo-hoo ABB Bros? (this is end of July..).
