The only resemblance any of those pictures have to my home town of Widnes is that the Silver Jubilee bridge spanning the River Mersey between my hometown and Runcorn was modelled on Sydney Harbour Bridge. And it wouldn't be fish you caught if you were to cast your line in.

Beautiful pics, Dave! This looks like where I'm at...oh, except the lack of beach and ocean, the single digit temp, the snow all over the place, and the absence of palm trees (or any trees containing leafy matter). LOL - looks like you had yourself an excellent trip! Thanks for sharing the pics!

Its a small world scotiadave, have you ever been to Widnes. They have unveiled plans to build a bigger bridge half a mile further up river to ease the horrendous congestion that hits the bridge on an almost daily basis. If there is ever an accident on the approach or the bridge itself then all 4 lanes are closed to traffic causing untold delays.
