I could only find Susan's dates to Wanee so this may be true....
Before this gig, in a spacious room backstage, Trucks and Tedeschi reported that there was a good chance they’d be barnstorming the rest of the country via bus in 2007. Laughing, Trucks rolled his eyes in exaggerated exasperation over the thought of more traveling.

In an earlier interview, I think Gregg said it would be August/September, with some dates out west. Hopefully, Red Rocks and then some. |

I'm looking at maybe attending this. Camping, live outdoor music, and a great line-up (and it's in driving distance)!

We'll see em here before too long...I'm banking on the Austin City Limits Festival later on.
Looks like ABB is playing New Orleans Jazz Fest this year...its at least kinda close. Sort of. Well one state over anyway. ____________________ If we practice and eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth, soon the whole world will be blind and toothless. -Mahatma Gandhi.

I really hope there is an Ottawa show in between those Toronto & Montreal shows.
Perhaps at the Ottawa Blues Fest. Bring the ABB and Mule along for the ride. Ottawa Blues Fest returns to its location by the Ottawa River this year. Much better than downtown. |

This is the site for the 10000 Lakes Fest. Gonna try and get a Mule and Derek weekend! (plus Ratdog, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Dumpstaphunk, Little Feat, etc, etc)
Tried to check line-up at the Sioux Falls Jazz & Blues Festival (also driving distance for me) but they haven't posted artists yet. Hmmm... thinking...

The choice is Montreal without a doubt. Trust me on this one. City is much more fun than Toronto will ever pretend to be. Amazing Jazz fest and awesome nightlife. plus I'll be there. |

I had a total blast when I visited Toronto eight years ago. I love hockey and got to see a game at Maple Leaf Garden before they closed it. Also Hockey Hall of Fame and the best gentlemen's clubs in the universe. CanadianMule if you're telling me that Montreal is more fun than Toronto then I gotta get myself up north for a visit. Montreal is only about a seven or eight hour drive from Long Island. I took Amtrack to Toronto. Can you tell me what kind of credentials you need at the border if you drive there ?
Peace

Well Pete. it is almost hard to take you serious. I have lived in both cities. When it comes to fun and entertainment there is no comparison at all. On a scale of 1-10, Montreal is a 9.5 or higher. Toronto would be a 3-4. There is theater and other events in Toronto but it has spent years trying to compare with Montreal for a nightlife.
Montreal is a vibrant, cultural city packed with some of the world's most beautiful women. Who do you think dances in those Gentlemen's clubs that you mentioned in Toronto? The women from Montreal.
They do have the Hockey Hall Of Fame. They need because the actual hockey team stinks. (Sorry people from the Big Smoke- but the truth does hurt.)
Best idea Pete. Come up for both shows (hopefully an Ottawa date in between also). You tell us which city you prefer. I already know the answer. |
