Subterranean Homesick Blues
Like a Rolling Stone
Mr. Tambourine Man
A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall
Tangled Up in Blue
Tomorrow Is Such a Long Time
Highway 61
It's Alright Ma, I'm Only Bleeding
Visions of Johanna
I'll Keep It with Mine

Even naming Dylan songs is tricky, because the titles rarely match up with the hook phrase in the lyric! That, and my failing eyes can no longer read the print on CD's ... even albums (I need a readin' eye dawg!).

In no particular order (and I apologize if these aren't the correct titles):

It's All Over Now, Baby Blue
Visions of Johanna
Neighborhood Bully
Highway 61
Like a Buck 6
Stuck In Mobile with the Memphis Blues
Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands
The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll
Forever Young
Like a Rolling Stone
All Along the Watchtower
Thunder on the Mountain

Okay, that's ten ... twelve, actually. If I were to make a top 10 list tomorrow, it would probably consist of 10 different tunes!

How could I have ommitted, "Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat"? I'm still wating for the recording of Tommy Talton and Brent doing that one at this year's Jam For Duane to surface!

Just off the top of my head-haven't seen these mentioned yet.

1)-Blind Willie McTell- perhaps one of the greatest non-released songs?

2)-Every Grain of Sand
3)-Girl From the North Country-both versions (with, & w/o Johnny Cash)
4)-Shelter From the Storm
5)-Tombstone Blues

Heard "Sara" again recently, & was quite taken back by his plea. I never thought much of that tune before-strange.

Well....there is an impossible list.

Off the top of my head (and in no order)...

Tangled up in blue

Just like a woman

She belongs to me

Love minus zero

Don't think twice it's all right

Maggies farm

If you see her say hello

Just like Tom Thumb's blues

Forever Young

Knocking on heavens door

Just about anything on blood on the tracks is sublime

Hmmm. Quite a challenge. With few exceptions, I'm almost exclusively "acoustic" in my Dylan listening.

Idiot Wind (the slower acoustic version from Bootleg Series, vols. 1-3)
Motorpsycho Nightmare
Only a Pawn in their Game
My Back Pages
I Don't Believe You
Gates of Eden
He Was a Friend of Mine
Song to Woody
Oxford Town
Only a Hobo

Well, those are ten of my favorites, I could easily go on and on.

Talkin' John Birch Society Blues
Trust Yourself
Gotta Serve Somebody
Like A Rolling Stone
Forever Young
Maggie's Farm
Stuck Inside of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again
Every Grain of Sand
I Shall Be Released
Meet Me In The Morning (because Freddie King did such a killer version of it! )

TEN?????

All Along the Watchtower
Mr. Tamborine Man
If You See Her, Say Hello
Hurricane
When I Paint My Masterpiece
Simple Twist of Fate
Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat
Jokerman
Forever Young
It Ain't Me Babe
Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowland
Positively 4th Street
Subterranean Homesick Blues
Desolation Row
Highway 61 Revisited
Idiot Wind
All I Really Want to Do
Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts
Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again

Just Like a Woman
You're a Big Girl Now
Gotta Serve Somebody
Don't Think Twice It's Alright
Visions of Johanna
Masters of War
Like a Rolling Stone
Silvio
Love Minus Zero

I can't do this ... keep thinking of more songs to add. Have seen Dylan live more than any other musician - around 25 times to date - and every show has been totally different, every set-list outstanding. His body of work is TOO BIG (and too good!) for me to be able to come up with 10...

N Country Girl, Shelter from the Storm, Desolation Row, Isis, Watchtower, Masterpiece, Johanna, Don't Think Twice, Blowin' in the Wind, I Shall be Released. Agree that anything on Blood on the Tracks is sublime. I tore up that vinyl when it came out and, well, for all the years thereafter on CD. I love Mtn Jam like anyone else, but for me a superior song lyrically takes the listener on a journey; no one tops Mr Zimmerman there.

This is impossible question for me to answer... except to say..all of them... a mover of words, feelings, a rebel, poetry man, completely confusing and also very well understood... a contradiction .... never will we see the likes of Dylan again....
