Here is the thread you can nominate the "Best Forum Member Project" for the upcoming 2006 “Technical Peachies Category”. This would entail those creative people in the ABB family community that put together those awesome compilations of live shows & songs, create and publish literary works, and do charitable functions. Feel free to reference as many member Projects as necessary. If someone already nominated a Member Project you feel is Peach worthy, go ahead and second that nomination.

We'll take nominations for the next week and a half (until Feb 5th). A few days before the official voting period (Feb 13 - 19th), the presenter of this award and I will pick the 5 or 6 Projects that received the most nominations so we can include them on the official ballot. Try and keep this bumped for the next week or so to garner as many nominations as possible. Happy nominating

i'm going to nomiate MARIONSINDORF for this one. Marion has been archiving pictures of the band and brother duane for a few years now, and put out a cd of all of them that i was able to buy (with the proceeds going to the JFD). Good stuff.

Well, I didn't make it back last night to post my nomination, but I'm gonna give my friend some recognition here.

Coot's been around a long time..... a very, very long time. During his tenure he's offered many shows to the forum. One of the best projects ever around these parts have been the Old Coot's Shoebox Series! He's found some wonderful old shows from a managerie of artists.

He blew the dust off the shoebox in '06 with the Return of The Shoebox Series. If Slammer will allow it, I'd appreciate my nomination for Coot to be presented. He works hard on these projects and his generosity is beyond measure.

Thanks, coot!!
