Here is the thread you can nominate the "Lifetime Achievement Award " for the upcoming 2006 Peachies. The Lifetime Achievement Award should go to someone that has dedicated themselves to all things Peach and has clearly made the forum and our little corner of the web a better place. Feel free to reference as many Lifetime Achievement candidates as necessary. If someone already nominated a Lifetime Achievement candidate you feel is Peach worthy, go ahead and second that nomination.

We'll take nominations for the next week and a half (until Feb 5th). A few days before the official voting period (Feb 13 - 19th), the presenter of this award and I will pick the 5 or 6 candidates that received the most nominations so we can include them on the official ballot. Try and keep this bumped for the next week or so to garner as many nominations as possible. Happy nominating

Hey brothers - should we filibuster this?

We can overload this thread with posts, eventually forcing it to be "locked," and then nobody else will be to nominate anyone.

American politics at their finest!

I'll nominate BigAnn for her work on the cookbook and the highly anticipated JS book, as well as her entertaining and informative posts around here.

Brent Sibley < Randy Stephens, for the jam For Duane..to me , lifetime means over a period of years...the cookbook project was great and should be recognized in another way..and as a second nomination..
Ron Currens, Joe Bell ,Kirk West and Willie Howard for the founding work of Hittin the Note

I'd definitely like to second the nomination for Brent and Randy....and Lefty's right....the cookbook project was a really good thing, but it isn't for this catagory although I appreciate anyone even thinking it was .
