Can't believe I'm missing the last 2 shows (will be looking at colleges), but I'll hopefully be at both Honeytribe dates and the Lefty show.

No age restrictions at BB's. No tix needed for shows in Lucille's, such as Lefty's
The Honeytribe and Meters show's tix are on sale through ticketmaster.

I just booked myself a ticket for the Devon Allman & Honeytribe aftershow at BB Kings on 3/30 through Ticketmaster ...

Ticket = 1 Cent
Convenience charge = $1
Delivery (will call) = $2-50
Order Processing Fee = $3-30
-------------------------------------------
Total Charge = $6-81
-------------------------------------------

So much for a "free" show ... but as it is in the "Blues Club" room (not "Lucilles") and might be a sell out, I figured it was worth making sure I got my foot in the door

... one thing I do find a bit rich is the fact that they charge me $2-50 to fly 3000 miles to collect my own ticket

Haven't bothered about pre-booking Lefty's show on 3/31 though, because that is in "Lucilles" which in theory is free entry. I didn't have a problem getting in last year ... besides, I intend to be with Chuck so they ain't gonna mess with my personal security

Yes indeed! Looking forward to meeting you, too, my friend. Got the hotel, got the plane, got the tix (just not in my hands) ... life is GOOD. And my friends who are accompanying me are all excited, too. Now if I can just get through these next 2 months...LOL

Well Harvey, 6.81 is about as close as you can get to free in NYC. I bet you can wait till the show and see if there are still some tickets available, but last year they were all sold out so . . .

Also, I want to mention that the Meters/Mule/Marsalis gig is 20 plus the small fee for processing. Pound for penny, it is a bargain if you consider the music that's gonna be played that night.

Hey Angela ... I'm not complaining really ... a few dollars to see Devon is a bargain in my book ... and like you said, it might be sold out and this is one party I do not want to miss

Thanks very much for posting the link, and I hope I get to see you again this year too

I don't think I can go that long. LOL.

So I think they will play some great jazz related rock. And they will be funky as all hell. I can't wait for these shows. End of March and April are gonna be great.

I don't know if anyone heard the great music that came out of the Warren Haynes Pre Jam and Jam but the New Orleans Social Club was fantastic. The highlight of the show for me. ANd Marsalis was unbelievable.

These after parties are going to be the best impromptu shows of 2007. I just know it.

I too got Honeytribe 3/30 tickets for a penny a piece. I felt so guilty and sure hope this comes out of the tbastard's pocket, not the band's. The last weekend late nights look SICK!. I always rant about the derth of late nights on the last weekend. So wrong. Beacon or bust, becca

I am so excited about the 4/7 after show jam at B.B. King's with Branford Marsalis,Leo Nocentelli,Mat Abts,Andy Hess and Cyrill Neville. (Sorry for any mistakes in spelling). This sounds like a jam for the ages. In fact in reminds me of some of the great late night collaborations put together for Jazzfest. Maybe some other guests will allso show. Either way, I am looking forward to this almost at as the Brothers earlier in the night. A lot of great Music and great times coming up including Langerado,The Brothers at the Beacon Wanee and Jazzfest. Boy am I a lucky man.

I'm hoping to go to the 4-7 show. The TM order form specifically mentions Branford Marsalis but I seem to recall someone saying that is not a certainty. Can I take Branford to the bank on 4-7? Probably will go anyway but this would seal the deal
