What better way to start my first post on this site. Big fan of DTB and STB. Not STD's.
Thanks for your offer.

JNB from Hittin the Note wrote the following

London got a great introduction to the Derek Trucks Band tonight - it was premo dTb! Derek was hot and the rest of the band was right there with him. Most of Clapton’s band was on hand to check out the buzz – their eyes and ears and smiles registering the full impact of his talents. Scattered throughout the packed house were some of London’s finest local musicians as well, who were also very clued in to what this band had to say. The audience was wonderful - so quiet during the soft notes that Derek went on and on and then brought them back up to full wails in breathless, spiraling circles – the crowd going nuts at the climax of the solos.

I really loved Derek’s playing with Clapton last night – I was so very moved…but I also wanted more – I always do with Derek - so seeing this show gave me the full dose that I needed. It also makes me realize how lucky we are to get him in the Allman Brothers and his own band and how the rest of the world is going to get introduced to him via Clapton. What a treat they have in store!

There were times during the lengthy jams at the end of “For My Brother” that you could hear the strong influence of 1960/70 Muscle Shoals – it was R&B by the dTb! Susan Tedeschi Trucks had the crowd in the palms of her hand during “Feel So Bad” and “The Weight.” The call and response of Susan’s voice and Derek’s soulful slide brought the audience to their knees and then to a frenzied peak! It was exhilarating – did I tell you how much fun I had?!

I'll have to grab #3, if only because I don't know if JNB has a copy of this and I want to make sure he gets a copy. As his review indicates, he really enjoyed that show

PM me with the details and thanks for the offer!
