Hey Rob,

I'm not a fan although my mom liked him quite a bit. She also liked Rod Stewart doing the Jazz Standards.
It's very kind of you to take her to a show you don't particularly want to attend. I'm not a big fan of Dylan but because my hubby is a big fan I agreed to go to a recent show and surprisingly, I enjoyed Bob and the music quite a bit. Maybe {and hopefully!} you will enjoy Josh more than you anticipate.

Happy Anniversary and I hope you and your wife have a wonderful evening together!

Woo Hoo it is Friday

Just need to figure out to slow the weekend down!

Well I must say I was a bit surprised. Josh Groban was very entertaining! Interacted very well with the audience and actually was pretty funny. His voice is just amazing. It is the same as on his cds so no magic involved. He sang so effortlessly. The highlight for me when the violinist Lucia Micarelli took the stage and played this song that sounded familar but couldnt place it. Then realized when the rest of the band and orchestra joined in it was Kashmir!! I couldn't believe it! She even broke a string and didnt miss a beat! She really got into it.

His opening act was Angelique Kidjo I have never heard her before but was really digging the African/Latin sound. From what she was saying she has quite the guest appearence on her next album. Peter Gabriel, Santana, Josh Grobin, Dave Mathews and I forgot who else she said.

Enjoy the weekend and try to hang onto it! It seems to go by just to fast

Hello my international friends

and Happy Friday. I've been away because of the flu and then catching up with all the work here in the office... not much lurking around...

Rob, belated Happy Anniversay wishes to you and your wife!

Cheers!

Only a boring finance meeting then it's the weekend! But I've drawn the short straw and am duty manager on saturday afternoon. Off to see David Nelson (NRPS) and "Banana" (Youngbloods) play their bluegrass duo stuff tonight and it's actually here in Chippenham. Yeehaa! Not looking forward to the Partick Thistle result tomorrow.

Have a good one folks!

Hi dear bro Zeka!

Yes, Hladno Pivo! I saw the word Pivo in our local beer store the other day and I thought of you right away!

I did not know who Novak Djokovic was until I Googled him 10 minutes ago and then went to his website! My very bad! I know almost all of the top players but somehow your Serbian star traveled under my tennis radar! But now I know and will pay attention. He is doing well in the Indian Wells tournament, going on to the 3rd round! His website said that he was in line to play Roger Federer in the quarter finals if either of them continued to win! Aaaah....but it looks like my Roger is OUT of the match! Oh well, he's slated to play in Miami in a couple of weeks, no doubt he will rebound and do well there.

A pic of Roger walking off the court after his loss:

Yes, dear Kim! But, Roger won 41 games, and, after that, I think is very good (good for tennis) to loose ONE game. I like Roger as you, think he is the greatest.
Back to the job!
Love!
Zeka

Good morning Peeps

Spring has almost sprung! Days are getting warmer. Wont be long before everything is green again.

Hey how many of your countries observe daylight savings time? I think it is kind of stupid. I wish they would just leave it alone.

Our clocks go forward by one hour midnight Sat night 3/25 ... but given that the following Wed I will be going back 5 hours from London time to NYC time I don't think it will make much difference in the overall scheme of things ..... and after 4 days in NYC with only a few hours sleep each night and much partying I don't think I will know what time of day it is in any case

Happy Toosday folks

Hi, my dear International friends!
Dear Sis Kim, did you write something like Roooggggeeeer? I know that you know about yesterday final game. I hope that you saw my young (he is 19) friend Novak. O.K., he didn't win, but next time...
Here, in Novi Sad, is looklike a spring. Nice weather and lot of sun. Wish you all the weather like I have.
Love!
Zeka
