Good 'Ole Sunday Mornin' Brothers & Sisters!

Still no sign of rain here. We were promised heavy rain for the weekend and it seems to be raining all over the country except here.

Got this 5 liter of fine red wine and gonna enjoy it today with some friends over BBQ.

Greetings to all,

-Danis

Rainy day in Novi Sad. Very sad.
Bro Colin, are you fan of Reading football team? I think so.
Best wishes, my dear S&B!
Love!

Zeka ... my hometown where I grew up as a child is Norwich (a twin City of Novi Sad) and so Norwich City is my favourite football team ... but of course because I now live in Reading (and have done for the past 30 years) they are my second team

Kim .. hope the Wedding was a good time ... and more importantly hope you got there and back safely!!!

Hope everybody else is doing ok and not falling foul of the weather

Hello All!

Rob and Colin, thank you for inquiring about the wedding and the driving.

Well, the drive up was excellent, no snow and the roads were clear. In fact, we got there about a half hour early and Sandy's idea was to find a bar and have a quick beer before the ceremony! I relented soon enough and a few minutes later we were in the midst of a Sunday afternoon pool tournament in the local bar with Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin on the radio.
Unfortunately the drive home was not very good; it was dark and the roads were snow covered off and on. It was a bit harrowing here and there with a large amount of snow accumulation in a number of places. We tried to be careful and arrived home unscathed but it was a bit of a fitful drive.

The wedding was beautiful and I enjoyed myself very much. It was my very good friend Marilyn's wedding so it was special and moving for me. I had to fight tears for the first 15 minutes and later, Marilyn said that she felt like laughing throughout the ceremony! After the luncheon, Marilyn and her hubby Adrian, her daughter Kelly and son Mike and Sandy and I went back to their house for a while and then out for supper. The staff at the restaurant presented us with a large bottle of BUBBLY . A gooood time was had by all...

Our cable provider just gave us Turner Classic Movies and American Movie Classics. Now I won't be able to drag Sandy away from the TV. He loves movies, especially the old black and whites.
For me, they were kind enough to give me BBC. Now I have CNN, CBC and BBC.

Right now, there is a big snow storm moving in here, up from the States. Rob, looks like you and I are getting the same weather. Be safe in all that snow.

Love
Kim

Hello my international friends!

Kim, so nice to hear that your friend's wedding ceremony was a beautiful one and you had a wonderful time and made it safely back home!

Sorry all, but I'm in a hurry a bit, I have to finish my part of a lecture that me and my collague are going to give tomorrow...

Anyway,

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi Jack!

I hope so too. At this point, we've got tickets to see Johnny Winter in TO at the Phoenix Mon. March 26 and we're planning to go see the dTb at the TO Jazz Fest June 30. Also, we'll keep our eyes open for Dickey dates as well as the ABB too. Have you got any shows written in stone yet?

Yes, I'll pass along your hello to Sandy.

Hello Brothers & Sisters,

Has been a busy week here too. Weather has been dry and mild temperatures
for almost a week now. especially for this time of the year (with the exception of wednesday afternoon). Which was just perfect for our local version of Mardi Gras
(carnaval) which is traditionally sunday-monday-tuesday but with many pre and post
festivities. Was a blast.

Have a great weekend & keep rockin'

cheers

Roger
