I havent read about anyone on here that got rows AA,BB,CC,DD in the general or presale? Are they holding those seats back for some reason?
I called ticketmaster today and the person didnt know...I also scored another 2 Row A tickets for 4/2 Oteil side but in the middle of section. Maybe those were throwbacks ??-
but obviously an easier night to get the good seats.

Would like to hear that someone got those AA seats....

See everyone at the run

It was stated on this site before the sale , that AA-DD was only available via TM phone orders on Sat. AM. Basicly that means TM will do whatever they want with them !

Not sure about this year, but last year thanks to my good friend Rob aka Merlin, I was lucky enough to sit in Row BB (Oteils side) for the March 23rd '06 show. Sitting that close is a real treat - you can see facial expressions clearly and any banter that goes on between band members.

That show also was one of the coolest and unusual setlists in recent memory....a "Les Brers opener", a middle of the First Set stand alone "Franklins Tower", an electric "Come On In MY Kitchen", a First set "Layla" closer! (Best Layla EVER!)...a 2nd set "Please Call Home" with horns!...a Jimmy Vivino guest slot on "Before The Bullets FLy", and in a VERY rare spot, "'Same Thing" was played as an encore with horns no less ...WHOA, what a night! That, my friends was a show... and seeing it from ROW BB was icing on the cake....so who's got those Double letter rows for this year???

Perhaps with the ownership change, the new owners held them back for bigwigs and such. I've sat in the first few years (including front row) every year before this one for the past 5 or 6 years.

...maybe James Dolan gives them out to his family and cronies. What a tool he is.

Not being in the know, I don't have the disgust that many of the locals seem to have for the guy, but think about it. If you owned the Beacon, wouldn't you hold some good seats back for friends? I'm sure many folks around here would. Would be tempting not to.

That says it all Lee. If you lived in this area, you would most likely feel the same way that we do. Dolan really isn't a good guy on so many levels. Yes he is entitled to a few tickets for himself obviously, but that means there could be a whole bunch of stiff business suits up front that don't even really care about the band at all. So who suffers because of it?...we do.

It happens lots of places. Two years ago when the ABB came to Detroit, I got two pairs of front row tix two days before the show. When we get to the seats there are people sitting in them. I show them to the usher who grabs them, rips them up and gives us new seats about 15 rows back. I was speechless. Oh and just a tad angry. The whole front section sat the whole time. I kinda felt bad for the band.

That would have made me more than a tad angry, Lee. Wonder if the people who had your seats were friends of the band or friends of the usher (I've encountered people working that usher job before who seemed to think they owned the venue...)

No, there was definitely a screw-up somewhere. Palace Entertainment has a habit of holding back A LOT of tix and then they get released right before a show. I've gotten good seats that way for years. I think they mistakenly released duplicate seats and then realized they had a problem on their hands, which was why the ushers had replacement tickets ready. As I said, the entire first 10 or 15 rows were suits.

But the part about giving them to friends and croonies who aren't really music lovers is pretty annoying. Back in June, I picked up some center section row BB seats for Mark Knopfler at Radio City. It was the tour with Emmy Lou. Anyway, it became obvious that most of the folks in those first three rows must have received the tix from a friend or business connection, as they didn't seem to be big MK fans. I was the only one regularly standing up and giving big cheers at the end of many tunes, with the rest of the knuckleheads around me sitting on their hands. It was really strange - one of the worlds finest guitarists/songwriters, joined by a great band, and front rows were doing the polite little golf-clap.

Been surfing around and found some decent priced tickets for those still looking. Dont know anything about this company but the prices are not bad for some of the seats.

Is there any veracity to the Dolan's taking out the first four rows? I don't think he would (more profit if they are there), but does anyone have any idea honestly - I realize I may be pretty gullible in this situation

dont know for sure but it does not make sense to take out seats now because its all about money especially with Dolan. I would think the seats will come out all at once. Unless there was a reason not to put all the seats back after the Stones concert. Anyone there for the Mule care to give us a heads up??

Rob has a way of spreading around the good vibes..I also benfitted from his generosity last year on the 18th I believe, Otiel's side also, 3 or 4 rows back.
That was great night also, Derek was on fire all night and killed Desdemona.

Last night I went on ebay to see who's selling Allman seats and there WERE rows AAto EE going from $699 a pair to $549 each! And the brokers showed you the seating chart. Whether it was a scam I don't know. In 2005 I paid $300 for rowAA for a Whitesnake show but that included a backstage visit and photo opp. Maybe Moog doesn't sound so bad now.
