Please give a Beacon newbie some advice. Where are the 'better' seats:

Loge - Row A left side (seats 27-29)
Orch - Row R right side (seats 22-24)

Thanks for the help. Can't wait!!!

Sitter and dancer makes the biggest difference - also, the people who you're going with make a difference, if they're sitters or dancers.

I personally think that Loge A is one of the best views in the house - it's like they're in your living room. Also, the sound there is fantastic. However, I'm sure you could poll 100 people and get nearly 50-50.

Is Loge A first Row? I think those may be best for us as we are not dancers - although we're not sitters either maybe somwhere in the middle.

Anyway, thanks for the opinions.

Yeah, Loge Row A is first row - if you're not dancers, or even just partial dancers, I'd say go for the Loge A. You can groove in your seat, wheras if you're back Orchestra you have to stand otherwise you can't see anything.

Best sound in the house is in loge. Great unobstructed view also.

The Loge is great if ya want to sit and watch I always bring my binoculars.Sometimes people dance anyway,I remember a few times the place shaking up and down..The Orch if you ever get the chance to be in double letters up front its an awesome experiance like none other in my concert career..I used to get some in the loge and some in the Orch but as the years go by it has gotten so much harder to get the great orch seats up close..
Oh and I forgot the loge and higher gets wicked hot and smokey..Sometimes during the intermission they open the side doors to cool the place out a bit...

So am I gonna be getting yelled at if I'm dancing in my seat in Row A Loge? Tried for Orch but best avail that we got was Row A loge. Get yelled at by someone every year in the balcony and it's a bit of a buzz kill....

Yes, you will almost certainly get yelled at, and possibly removed by security if you are considered to be causing a nuisance ... if you are in the Loge but want to dance you need to vacate your seat and stand at the back or to the side

I've never been in the Loge before. So there is room in the back or on the sides where you can stand?
