Ms. Ann - I would like to add my thanks here, also. I think Buppalo said it well in another thread "Leadership.....lots of willing hands, needing someone with vision." Thanks for providing the leadership that got this accomplished! Your effort to share these notes of appreciation with everyone was above and beyond!

It was great to be copied in on the correspondence. I knew donating the money to Rose Hill would be carried out, and reading the letters made me realize, again, what a great project it was. Thank you to everyone involved.

Thanks for passing on the Rose Hill Thank You notes. And for taking the lead on this effort.
I think we all agree that Johnny isn't the only star in the Sandlin House....

Aw, shucks, everyone. Your're embarassing me. But I have to admit, I did enjoy reading that one to Johnny about him not being the only star! Now, what DeeZeee said....let's get volume II fired up and ready to go!

Ann,
Thanks so much for sharing the letters with us. I was pleasantly suprised to get them in the mail! It seems that everyone here has a big heart and your is the biggest of all!
Speaking of the second cookbook, when is the deadline for posting recipes and could you give the website again please?

Happy New Year!
Becky

Here you go Becky...and anyone else who wants to jump onboard.

Go to fundcraft.com

Scroll down the page and look on the right hand side until you see the white block where you can enter your Web ID. Type in 21969-06DD

Don't worry about the password....you don't need that one.

When you get to the recipe section, select the section in which you want to enter your recipe....and if you forget and put a meat dish in the appetizer section, don't worry....I can move it.

I have selected the recipe note feature so we can leave a little bit about the recipe, etc. Please remember though, you can only add TWO LINES worth of notes. Last book there was some confusion and we had to edit some information from half a page into a two line format.

Okay, that's all there is to it for now. We're looking at 300 recipes with a new deadline of April. 1, 2007 for completing and submitting the book.

Actually, I'm hoping for some time in February, but this volume has gone more slowly than the first!

Happy New Year back atcha and to eveyone else who stops by to read this!

Thanks for the letter- on top of everything else that goes with the holiday season, to get a hand addressed letter ( addressed to my WIFE of course- as if us guys don't do a bunch of the cooking! ) Gotta get down to Macon again soon and have a look at the Big House before it turns into Graceland ( hahaha)

Sorry about that.....believe me, we got some fine recipes for the book from men. I just used the addresses that were on the envelopes for the checks that were mailed. My thanks went out to everyone in the household who contributed in one way or another....such, as in Johnny's case, eating my culinary mistakes!!!

If you want to just send any recipes to me at bigann@aol.com I'll see that they get added to the book. Please be certain to include the name you wish to have listed as contributor. See how easy I can make it for you?
