the Clapton tour is booked throughout March. If Derek is tied up with Clapton, does that mean no Beacon run this year?

Appreciate any insight. Anxiously awaiting dates for travel plans

Good to know that Derek won't be with Clapton on the late March shows. Ticket prices should be cut in half!

some of the ticket prices I've seen for shows after Derek leaves the tour do seem to be lower than previous shows (don't know if it has to do with venue, just something I noticed)

Is Derek confirmed as part of Clapton's band until 3/18?? I'm hoping to go to the 3/10 show in Vegas but would probably abort the mission if Derek is not still playing with EC.

There is someplace here you can sign up to receive "Peach Grams", emails from the Administrators here. You get advance info on ticket sales and sometimes passwords for early sales. Maybe someone else here knows where to sign up, been so long I can't remember

btw, whats a Leaf fan doing in the land of the Canucks??

That's a curious comment . . . do you mean to say that the Clapton tickets are overpriced in general and should be halved regardless of who's playing guitar, or are you saying that Derek somehow devalues the show?

I think what he means is without Derek with Clapton, the ticket prices for the show should be cut in half.

Does anyone have any idea of dates, whether rumor or not? Am planning to go for a few Beacon shows from GA and would like to firm up travel plans. Hav signed up for peach gram newsletter but am itching to have something good on the horizon. Do any other Atlantans plan to make the trip to NYC?

In the interest of having some fun here. (And I haven't compared ABB Beacon dates with Clapton tour dates) Let's say Derek can't make the Beacon run......or can't make a couple of shows......who would you like to see fill his spot?
I have two choices;
1- Dickey Betts
2- Walter Trout (can you imagine Trout & Haynes jammin'!?!?!?!

Have a great day everyone

I think Clapton's prices are too high. If it were not for Derek, I would not have paid the money to see Clapton. He was very good, but a bit too expensive for my taste. But anytime you can see Derek...

Derek Trucks website says that his last show with Clapton is March 18th. The Beacon run always starts on a Thur. So based on days they play on past Beacon runs, it should look like this:

Thur. Mar. 22
Fri. Mar. 23
Sat. Mar. 24
Mon. Mar. 26
Tues. Mar. 27
Thur. Mar. 29
Fri. Mar.30
Sat. Mar. 31
Mon. Apr. 2
Teus. Apr. 3
Thur. Apr. 5
Fri. Apr. 6
Sat. Apr. 7

Thats a 13 show run.

Rock on
Buck
