Going offline for the holidays but want to wish the people I've met here a most blessed holiday season and want to thank all those who have shown so much kindness to a new kid. I'm sure there are names missing but not intentionally (I'm new AND I'm old) ... this is my Christmas 'card'.

Lana and Rowland - thanks for bringing us together

Everyone who answered my initial 'hello' - THANK YOU. It convinced me I had made the right choice in coming forward.

Tyler - thanks for building a kingdom and filling it with such nice people (Jack, Colin, susea, Mitzi, rainy, Dad2, Barb, Sang, DZ, Rogue, Piacere, Gaston and his pics, and of course Eric who keeps us in music)

susea and Mitzi - thanks for making me laugh frequently throughout each day. This should also include Ms. Ann and her Vaylorette's, Peter Nelson (who provided visual evidence that Droogie did indeed start out sinister), Hai (who shared pic of his stint with John Wayne and the Rockettes before being lost in WalMart in a nasty spandex incident), and Krishna (whose photos in the Pictures section demonstrate true joy).

TopDroog and PeteMan - thanks for the musical gifts

The Sweeties - who shared kind welcomes (and sounds like take good care of fellow peaches during Beacon)

Pam - who thought to help build a Christmas for those in need

Linnie - for your happiness thread which brought me much joy in knowing that some of the simplest things can make us happiest (still thinking about manufacture process discussed elsewhere).

rainy - who is always so kind and gracious

MsTerry, PhotoRon, NYCBarb and anyone else who have children away taking care of the rest of us - hope they feel our gratitude and hope your hearts are not heavy in their absence

RedRider, BDOB amd family, Bobo and family, Buzzy and family, cupofjo and family, PeachNutt family and Tyler, Lefty, Bird72, WillieHoward, MacDonald family (and anybody I've forgotten - I'm new here!) - special thoughts and prayers for those who have faced, or are facing, life challenges due to health/family/loss or any of those other of life's unhappy surprises. May you all have peace from your worries or sorrow and may you find joyful moments, also, during these times.

This is probably corny but it's been floating around in my head forever...

Peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.

Nice wordas, and a very sweet sentiment. I second all that and more, this is a wonderful home on the Web and it's all about the great and varied people who make it.

Happy holidays everybody. Peace.
