Great dogs. I love Swissys! One of my favorite breeds. Too bad the site loads poorly (maybe it's just my computer) and doesn't offer enough details on the pros/cons of ownership, though there aren't that many cons as far as I've been told.

I was looking for 'rescue' Swissys a while back but wasn't able to find one. Luckily, I stumbled upon my Dobie/Rottie mutt and got him instead. I still keep an eye out for those Mountain dogs though.

I've tried for two days now, and the homepage doesn't even have a scroll bar so I can read it completely. Did the dogs design the website too?

I can click on the headers OK, but there's still no scroll bar on any page to read or see what's on the whole page, at least on my PC anyway.

Some sorry hunter, that I ran out of my yard 2 weeks ago dumped a beagle
on me..
Could'nt believe this nut was walkin' in my front yard, I live in the sticks....but it's still my yard...
I was in the house & heard a gun shot.....to close......
They were in the woods next to my house .....I know dogs are gonna run so I let it slide till he was in my yard.....
I asked real nice if they could move it on down the road....One dog stayed in my yard playin' with my dog.
Never seen them again, but 2 nights latter I hear a beagle barkin....So I called for him ...
And here he came.....
Dude just left him....
So i'm huntin' for a home for him.....But if I can't find one he'll always be welcome...
Anybody want a beagle.....

Got one (well, no longer a puppy, although she doesn't let that stop her). But these Swissys are nice looking animals - have never heard of that breed before. Are you thinking about one, Hai? Look's like this one will be a 'little' puppy, alright (for a couple of months!) My Lola is a Rott but she was the runt of the litter and is still smaller than her sisters or other Rott's I've seen. She's been a really good dog. Droog - know nothing first hand about the Corgi's but have heard that they are good dogs (I think I want one, too, after looking at the cute puppy picture). Good Luck!

I don't think a Swissy in a small apartment eould go together too well.
I'm still trying to figure out why you would need a scroll bar, I see everything fine on the page. When I click the links About Swissys, all the sights that need them are in order.

Droogie, don't know if this will help but I and my sibs grew up with a corgi mutt from the pound that was a joy.... Ok, so his little legs would get him in trouble and in somewhere he couldn't get out of but we always tracked him down and got him out .... Well then there was that skunk incident, a porcuppine incident....

Squatch, you have fallen into Hai's evil web!

My problem was trying to read the word "Swissys." It looks like "Swiss Sis" to me, rhymes with "Swiss Miss"!

If the plural of "puppy" is "puppies,"
The plural of "sissy" is "sissies,"
And the plural of "Ozzy" is "Aussies,"
Shouldn't the plural of "Swissy" be "Swissies"?*

* No, because "Swissy" is a proper name, and you don't alter a proper name's ending (even if "-y") when making it plural. The plural of "Doberman" is "Dobermans," not "Dobermen"! Still hard not to read "Swiss Sis," though!

I work with a woman who has two of them. They are wonderful. Easy to care for and very lovable.

I also adore the Swissy's. Those pups are way too cute to pass up!
