Just curious to know is there is one special movie you might like to watch around the holidays,
I like Home Alone,
Charlie Brown's Christmas,
to name a few.

What are yours?

Happy Holiday

Soon my wife will have The Sound of Music in the DVD player for two weeks. I never understood why so many people watch this movie at Christmastime.

A Christmas Story is the best ever.

Sun Valley Serenade (1941) with the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Great music and amazing dance routine with the Nicholas brothers on Chatanooga Choo Choo. Typical 40's movie with routine love story plot, but it cheers me up no end when I watch it. At last coming to DVD, but not til Feb 07 and my video player is chewing up tapes!

My favorite is "A Christmas Story". They have recently made the original house where it was filmed into a museum. You can also buy the coveted leg lamp too!

Call Me Claus with Whoopi Goldberg and starring Nigel Hawthorne. With music from Garth Brooks!

It's funny and sweet not to mention touching! Great for all ages!

Christmas Vacation!

"I mean look at Cousin Eddie's Shirt for crying out Loud"

We just watched this last weekend, and my wife noticed that Eddie is wearing a dickie (a turtle-neck thing you would wear under a v-neck sweater. These went out of fashion (oh what were we thinking!) in the '60s'.

I also just love Todd and Margo next door!

The Original...a very disturbing little flick !

I also love the Christmas episode of "Andy Griffith"
