Another quick drive-by and I see the kingdom has moved so I packed my bags and I'm coming over, too, if you don't mind! Thanks, King, for taking care of us. And Eric, that's a heck of a welcoming mat you've laid out! Susea - I'm adding a Whooo Hoooo!!!

The rest of the month off!!! I wanna work where you work! (oh yeah - already blew my vacation days for the year, well most of them anyway). Mitzi - plenty of room in the corner for your fridge and since Eric's supplying the beer in a water fountain I think you can reserve a whole shelf on that fridge for Cheez Whiz! (susea - just realized ... can you imagine what kind of treats Eric will come up with on non-working days if these are the goodies he provides on working days???) Tyler - looks like you got the kingdom off to a good start!

I had to bring this over here. Incredible numbers on the first two JHawke threads. Way to go Tyler, and I'm happy to say I've been with the "Rolling King" from the beginning, and I have loved the people who have joined up and made it the place to visit.
Bring on bigger numbers of visitors to JHawke111................!!!!!!!!!

Yes my friends, we are off to a good start. Jack made a good point the other day when he said that we will probably get more members because in the old diary the numbers were so big some people were reluctant to jump in.

I had a very good doctor's visit today. Listening to some good music from Radio 007 and relaxing. Not a care in the world. My aunt is doing better. Eric, I hope your sis-in law is getting good news. Since DZ moved to the Hamptons, his number is unlisted and I hear that he is taking up tennis, wearing IZOD clothing, and now has brunch with his new friends. Smoke um if ya got em.

I just wanted to post this. I know the King said no more in JHD2 but I want to express this if you do not go and look.

I first got an email from a Tyler Ogle @ 8pm on April 24th 2006. His email

So you are a big DTB fan. I have an autographed copy of Live at the Georgia Theater, Songlines and several shows. I think they are great. Are you familiar with the Rolling Stone list of top 100 greatest guitarists? The ABB at one time or another had four on that list in the band. Duane at 2, Derek at 80, Warren at 23, and Dickey at 55. Amazing when you think about it. I hope Derek has a great time with Eric. Tyler

I consider him my brother!! Thanks T!

Well I posted this at the last JHD2 and thought I would bring it here!

Thanks for the memories here. We have learned a lot about each other. We have helped each other thru tough times and laughed a whole lot more. Thanks to all the new friends I have made because of this great diary. T don't let the door hit ya in the @$$!! C Ya

Let's get this party started!!

Great parting post on II Eric - just went over to read it in it's original home! Yes, Tyler does a good job of making people feel welcome, doesn't he? I think it's a testiment to the kind of fellow he is that he's managed to join so many of us together - I thank him for that (and all you other Kingfish).
