Leaving your infant in his/her car seat may cause breathing problems. I have a 3 month old and we actually leave him in hsi car seat to sleep because he does not sleep flat on his back at all. He hates it. He loves the carseat though. We are actually in the process of trying to "break" him of the car seat. This article is a little worriesome to me though.

Thanks.

We use the car seat with a stroller attachment, often for 2 -4 hours at a time.

I will be careful.

Brings back memories. There was a time when my little ones couldnt go to sleep. Being a single parent it could get a little frustrating at times. I would load em up. Put em in the car seat and take a couple laps around the block and they were gone. I would leave em in the drive way a few minutes after the tour around the block. After they were deep asleep, I would snatchem up and put them to bed. Man, time flies, they are 22 and 19. girl and Boy and both are close to enlisting in the military. I hope they dont have the same problem during boot camp.

OH yeah,

my now 6 year old and I took many midnight rides to no where.

nothing like the hum of a car to putthem right to sleep.

they now make some sort of vibrating device that you attach to the crip that replicates a car driving 50mph on a highway.
