Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try,
No hell below us, above us only sky,
Imagine all the people, living for today.
Imagine there's no countries, it isn't hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for, and no religion too,
Imagine all the people, living life in peace.
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one,
I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will be as one.

Imagine no possessions, I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger, a brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people, sharing all the world.
You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one,
I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will live as one.

yes, this one brought me to my knees - it just seemed like it couldn't have been happening - no politics, no cause (or lost cause) being attributed. I only hope that no blood money goes into Chapmans pocket.

John Lennon was killed on my golden birthday. I was 8 years old then. It was a Monday.

My oldest daughter was born in the early hours of Dec 9th, 1980, as I walked past the nurses station to go home I heard Strawberry Fields Forever. I knew John had died before my daughter was born, so it was a very difficult night for me, the sorrow and the joy.

I think there are laws preventing criminals from making money that way.

Guys there is a movie being made now. They even re-enacted the murder scene in front of the Dakota.
I wish I was making this sh!t up, but I am not

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0488988/

I am pretty sure there are laws against inmates profiting from thier crimes though.

No matter, the fact that this movie is being made disgusts me.

Did that go into affect? What about OJ? Since he wasnt convicted that allows him to write a book!

Hopefully, New York has laws against this sort of thing at least.

In remembering John Lennon, let's refrain from mentioning Chapman in this thread, let's remember John's life and celebrate it.

And we all shine on, like the moon, and the sun, and the stars...
