pulled out of a hat?

I beg to differ, my good man.

meet me in the football thread, I'll enlighten you.

(just ask Otie, Wharfy, Dug....) although they fail to enter into the light, for some reason

I don't mean pull out of the hat in the truest sense. Your right. they earned it. But you have to admit without some undisiplined play, which led to killer penalties, it could have been different. I was really just trying to make my point about Eli Manning, and the NY Giant fans. Enjoy your victory.

10-4.

I agree with ya about Eli. That "deer in the headlights" look is getting pretty lame.

and some stupid penalties too. Championship teams don't do that.

LOL..oh I got it now. Your one of the guys from last night under another name. I had no beef with you under this name your under? I thought you were just asking where I lived as a matter of sports demigraphics!
So what was the reason for wanting to know where I live then? You have me curious.

It was, in fact, a geographic thing. In the time I've been here, (the old BB thread a couple pages back will prove) I've done my best to annoy and harrass Yankee fans. I wasn't here last night, this is my only name. I also have a twisted sense of humor which often gets lost on damn near everybody. As for wanting to know where you live, it goes up my ass when Yankee fans chime in from Brazil or Denmark or something but since you're from NY then you're a hometown team guy and I'll cut you a little slack.

a little.

OK, That's fair enough! I paid me dues. I was 10 in '64 and had to live through the Horace Clarke Era, as we call it. 18 years to a next appearence, and I never faltered as a fan. I keep 4 full season box seats, and attend about 45 games a year. And I was there in '04, game 7..i took my medicine, watched them celebrate on MY turf!! LOL. I had to leave though when Trot Nixon ran out to the bleachers and started spraying them with Champagne..that was too much to take.
So, cool..I made one friend here today..that's a start.
Have a Good Night...

friend? yeah. My Guitar teacher is a Sox fan..and like you I cut him slack because he was born in Mass..he has a right. I love the man..but during the season...after a loss to you guys..for a short while..your right..mortal baseball enemies..lol. He sat in my Yankee locker room chair in '04, and I called him the Modern day Trojan Horse. he can no longer sit in that chair, as you could guess.

mortal baseball enemy? probably.

it's an inside joke. No big deal.

It took me a while to realize that arguing on this forum is pointless and senseless. It serves no purpose. I don't talk to people in the real world in argumentative ways, why should I here? There's one person that I have a gripe with and that's gina, well, and Yankee fans. Don't let words, especially typed words, have any effect on ya. Often, when I go reading a post from OTF or Wharfy or many people, I'll start laughing before I even read it. It's all good. and I know before I even read it that I'm going to be besmirched in some way.

Right! Fighting should restricted to the hockey thread!

It might be more civil if I started a thread calling Squatch a John Bircher!

well that's good to know. But it started to get a little personal there. I was getting thrown lefts, rights, uppercuts...good thing I've learned to duck living in NYC, and to get over things fast. Not easy for a Sicilian, who usually take a grudge to the grave!
Peace
