In my family, on Thanksgiving day, right before we eat we go around the table and each person tells the others what they are thankful for. Well I just wanted to say thank you all for a great place to come and discuss music, life and anything under the sun. It is also a place that is full of some of the nicest, most caring people in the world!!!!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving from the Butler family.

I second that. This place I have met people that I otherwise would not have. They have helped me in difficult situations and I have return the gesture back to those who need it. The generoisty of this forum amazes me each year that I am here. I have been lucky to meet new people and share in their love of music.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Macleod Family

My family praises God for such a fine Christain president as George Bush every year.

I try to live my life where everyday is Thanksgiving and Christmas... but the Bush thing isn't in my repertoire .

We'll be traveling this Thanksgiving back to where my hubby and I were raised, and our children spent the first decade of their lives. Being surrounded by family and old friends really is a wonderful feeling.

I have met so many wonderful people on this forum, some I consider to be friends, and for that I am thankful.

To you and yours, a happy and healthy holiday. Safe travels and bright blessings.

Peace....

This Thanksgiving, my family and I are travelling to IN to visit my 79 and 82 year old uncles, who are my mother's brothers. I haven't seen them since right before and right after mother passed away. Well, I did see Uncle Justin. It was his house I stopped by on my motorcycle in July last summer and had my crash on the way home. Anyway, my two cousins, Brian and Alan and their families are all having dinner together. I am real close to that side of the family. I miss them, so being on Hoosier soil and having that family fellowship will be a real treat for me.

So, after today, I will be scarce for a few days. I'd like to take the time to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. I'm blessed and honored to a part of this community of music lovers. I hope everyone enjoys their holiday weekend to the fullest, and I'll see everyone online next week!

PEACE OUT...And Eat A Peach For Peace!

The Very Best to everyone i hope your holiday season is filled with Family and friends and please remember the reason for thanksgiving..to share with your fellow man no matter what his skin color or race,,,if you can drop a package by a homeless shelter,or make a donation ,if you can not afford it say a prayer for those less fortunate than ourselves and there are plenty of them peace to you all..Mike and Deb

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone that posts here. When I started posting on the forum after the Beacon run I never thought I would be checking in almost every day to see what everyone is talking about. Sometimes we don't agree about everything, but isn't that the same way in any family. I have a lot of free time on my hands. More than I want. Thanks to all of you great friends I have something to keep me from being bored to death. So thank you again and a happy turkey day to all !!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving and peace on fellow travellers through this site - those travelling for the holidays, be safe. I'm blessed to have wonderful family who I'm lucky to be sharing the day with (food, wine, board games, and laughs - followed by something pumpkin). No real time off work except Thanksgiving day this year but I'm not complaining (yeah - talk to me Friday morning...).
No1ToRunWith - those children are beautiful! All 3 of them!
Ayla - you are a kill!!! Can't wait for my next turn with the turkey - will give the family a Thanksgiving to remember! Thanks for the laugh!

Exactly what I was going to say :-)

Also the good pagan values my Mother brought me up with .... respect toward animals, a warm sun, romantic moon twinkling stars, gentle breezes ... the simple life
