Is Bramlett in a band? Doesn't he have a solo record or two? I know he kicked some serious ass on Live With A Little Help. Haven't heard of the other three guys. I'm hoping to get into some good rockin' bands with a sax player. Nothing too mellow. There's nothing like a good sax solo in a rockin' tune.

Nothing to mellow? Then Bobby Keys is ya man, he's as much fun to watch as he is to hear!

Always dug Ernie Watts. Anything he has been involved with is usually quite good.

Of all time? Charlie Parker followed by John Coltrane.

Living? Sonny Rollins.

Greg Osby is another good one to check out. Has played with the Dead.

Nobody's mentioned Edgar Winter - sax is not what he's best known for, but he's excellent.
