i have never been a kiss fan..some songs from the 70ties are great stuff but i have never been into the make-up rock..grateful dead and the allmans have always been my cup of tea..but the other day i heard the kiss album "Dressed to kill" from 75 and it totally rock!!

songs like room service, she, rock bottom is great rock with great singing from paul stanley and the guys and great bluesy guitar solos and some great harmony work..i was very suprised that it was a kiss record i heard..

anyone here who have heard that record or have an opinion about Kiss??im not a fan,but that record blew my mind..stanleys vocie rocked!!

I like old era Kiss (Kiss-Alive !) . The rest of the albums had select tracks that I liked . They were definetly a great live act , if you like that sort of thing !

The first three "Kiss", "Hotter Than Hell" & " Dressed To Kill" are flat out rock n' roll albums. Kiss "Alive" is what put them on the map. It's one of my all time favorite live albums. The early stuff was great.

Never Cared for Kiss at all. More Theater than music.

But I've been watching Gene Simmon's Family Jewels on A&E, it is funnier than
all get out. He cracks me up. And I'm still in love with Shannon Tweed.

Peace
John

Man as a kid, I had all the albums up to Creatures of the Night. Have both the make up and clean version of that album.LOL!! Had the kiss plastic guitars growing up, Halloween customs. Yeah, I liked them back in the day!

I'm with you. I am 42 years old now. Kiss Alive was the very first record I ever purchased and owned. Have it on CD and still listen to it now and then. A very good live album.

Check out "Going Blind" off the "Hotter Than Hell" album. One of my all time favorite Kiss tracks.

More theater than music - the one time I saw Kiss (around 1974 or so) I couldn't get past the fact that every single move they made seemed to be choreographed and planned.
Of course - the hallucinegenics might have been clouding my ability to perceive stuff that night...
