Okay it's dull here at work....raining..and people are acting like it's a Monday here.

My first job applicant Interview came in stoned out of his mind...

So what i'm going to do is, the first person to correctly post the answer will get the Jimi Hendrix "Box of Gypsies" 6 cd set on me...no artwork included...just the music.

Who was Ted Nugent's Lead Vocalist on his first two studio releases as The Amboy Dukes ?

You may have to do some research......

Post your answer below.......

Well, you could drive over to where Kenny works and get it--that's what I did!

Whatever happened to John Drake anyway?

Maybe we should hire Paul Drake to find John Drake...

Here is an old interview segment with Ted....about John Drake leaving...

AV: Why did John Drake leave the group after the Journey to the Center of the Mind album?

TN: I fired him because he wouldn't conform to rehearsal schedules or to vocal styles within the musical progress of the band. It was hard to fire him because John was an original member and a real figurehead in the Lourds. In fact, John Drake was the only member of the Lourds I brought to Chicago to join the Amboy Dukes right after he got out of the Army. He was also a kind of hero to me, but I had to get rid of him.

I did the same thing with Steve Farmer who was a brillant, creative individual, but who was so high and so irresponsible you couldn't get from point A to point B with him. Ideas alone will not sustain a band.

Ole Ted...heard he was a real hard ass to work for.....

Patrick! you'll have to PM me with directions to Kenny's work place - looks like it would be less than 24 hours of driving, round trip - if I leave now, I'll be back in time for supper tomorrow night (of course, I won't be there until Saturday moring, and Kenny wouldn't probably be at work...)

Hey Jim,

If you want to do the B@P thingy..I will hook you up.....I will be sending your other one out in the morn..with an xtra or two included....you know me man....send me 6 audio/music cds...I would use my own...but got to stretch them out until payday...I go through almost 50 every 10 days.

Being the generous bastard as I am......

Mybe I'll take you up on the b&p offer...although there's only 4 audio blanks left in the house right now (but a couple hundred data - should last about a month or so...)
You are a hard person to chose freebies for - but there must be something you don't already have...maybe a Warren Haynes 7.5.02 video on CD?
Or Dave Matthews with James Brown, MSG 12.21.02?
