Damn, now I can understand why they had to do a venue change in Erie. If it's just mudflapgirl and ourselves going, well, we certainly won't have to fight for a front row spot!

< is going to ERIE!

The venue change is for the better. The Warner is a nice sounding room. Great place to see the brothers! I can't wait. I should(?) Have a good seat. We'll see how they handle the ticket situation.

There are still plenty of tix left. I did some checking today, and "Evening with" of late shows have been running ~ 12 songs = 2 hours. Not sure why, but this may have something to do with the low turnout. I'll be there...hoping for the usual 2.5 hours. No matter what happens...the Brothers are back on the road in Erie!

I'll be there...stop by the Docksider pre- (and post!) show for some good times. "The Slider" is about a block down the street from the Warner - on the same side of State Street as the venue.

Cheers

Chris

We'll be there with another couple.
Need food beforehand though, so either Pecadillo's on 10th and State or Sullivan's at 3rd and French.
I'll call and get an update on how the tickets are going to be handled and post Thursday night.

peace all

Will be coming in from Ellicottville - cutting it close timewise - hope there is not a delay with the tickets due to the change in venue.

I called down there again this morning.
The reason they changed the venue (from across the street) was ticket sales.
They're telling me that doors open an hour before the show starts and ushers
will take you to your comparable seats.
Still sounds ugly to me!
I've been asking them for a week if I could just bring my tickets to the box office
and swap them for my new seats, no, they didn't want any part of it.
I love the Warner Theater and will be on the floor this time, I know I'll be enjoying myself.

peace

I also called the box office today (8/9). The venue figured out their seat conversion plan yesterday (8/8). They told me that if you have seats in row 5 (for example) your seats would be in row 5 at The Warner.

Well that is all fine and good, but the middle section at the Warner is waaay different than the section set-up at the previous venue. Honestly, I know that things will work out, and worrying about it at this point will ruin the high I'll be on for my 5 1/2 hour ride to Erie. And a best friend of mine told me that there is a Peach Street in Erie! How appropriate! How about a list of places that have good eats in the area, close to the Warner?

Thanks, and Peach, I mean Peace....

^^^^BUMP^^^^

My buddy Pete and I are driving from Buffalo tomorrow. Lookin for any open spots (i.e. parking lots) to do a little pre-show bbq and drinks... Should be an awesome time. The Brothers rocked last summer in Erie. Hopefully the crowd gets up off their feet this time...

See you guys there!

Steve :-)
