For the 7/21/71 Central Park, NY, show, the Live Show Database displays two different set lists, without indicating that there might have been two shows that day. To add to my confustion, I have that show and it lists the material differently. Does anyone know the truth about this mysterious day?

Set List 1

1. Hot 'Lanta
2. One Way Out
3. Trouble No More
4. In Memory of Elizabeth Reed
5. Stormy Monday
6. Mountain Jam
7. Revival

Set List 2

1. Statesboro Blues
2. Trouble No More
3. Don't Keep Me Wonderin'
4. Done Somebody Wrong
5. One Way Out
6. Midnight Rider
7. In Memory of Elizabeth Reed
8. You Don't Love Me
9. Revival

Live recording, maybe

1. Statesboro Blues
2. Trouble No More
3. Don't Keep Me Wonderin'
4. Done Somebody Wrong
5. One Way Out
6. Midnight Rider
7. In Memory of Elizabeth Reed
8. You Don't Love Me
9. Revival

Plus

X. Hot 'Lanta
Y. Stormy Monday
Z. Mountain Jam

Also, my recording doesn't include "You Don't Love Me."

Help!

Thanks.

Billastro

It was my 9th birthday.

Hey Bill, What's up bro --
the memory is foggy and it was a few brain cells ago -- but I seem to recall that the band played two shows at this Central Park gig -- again that's just going by a foggy memory
Also noticed your note from yesterday about the documentary -- the clip is in the Anything Goes forum somewhere -- it was posted maybe two weeks ago or so.
Hope that helps & that all is good in MN.

Hello Bill,

I think following thread will help you for Central Park Late show, 7/21/'71

http://www.allmanbrothersband.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=XForum&file=v iewthread&tid=35440#pid814733

This source doesn't contain "Hot 'Lanta" but it is sure that played at late show.

7/21/'71 Scheafer Music Festival at Central Park, NY (late show)
1. Statesboro Blues
2. Trouble No More
3. Don't Keep Me Wonderin'
4. Done Somebody Wrong
5. One Way Out
6. In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed
7. Stormy Monday
8. Mountain Jam
9. Revival (encore)

Also I've got early show's source from Clay, and the track list is as follows.

7/21/'71 Central Park, NY (early show)
1. Statesboro Blues
2. Trouble No More
3. Don't Keep Me Wonderin'
4. Done Somebody Wrong
5. One Way Out
6. Midnighr Rider
7. In Memory of Elizabeth Reed
8. You Don't Love Me
9. Rivival (encore)

I think Stormy Monday must be played after Liz Reed from listening to this source.

Thanks to both of you, Stephen and Masahiko. The info helps.

Memories do blur after 30 or so years. My recollections of the shows I saw in 1971 are probably not 100% accurate any more; they were a bit fuzzy a few days/weeks/months after the events!

As far as Minnesota goes, we just experienced the hottest July since the Dust Bowl days. Yesterday we hit 101.

Frozen North, indeed
