What song(s) can actually make you tap your feet or fingers, jiggle your hips, make you jump out of your seat to play air guitar or make you look like a fool trying to be Butch Trucks on a countertop? Has to be a tune or tunes that, every time you hear the first few opening bars of the song it makes you lose your fricking mind or you get goosebumps with the anticipation. Any really goofy stories concerning the song will be appreciated. Caveat: Does NOT have to be strictly ABB.

For me there are several. One is Jessica. Just the opening bars of the song give me goosebumps. Another is Whippin Post. The basslines Berry lays down make me whip out the old air bass. Dixie Chicken's opening piano is another one. Stones Jumpin Jack Flash, Brown Sugar, It's Only Rock and Roll. I could go on forever but you get the jist.....

I was actually at work one day, a few years ago, had the headphones on during a lull (Jessica came on) and I actually started the piano line on my desk as my coworkers looked at me like I was some sort of alien.

GD's Terrapin Station ALWAYS gives me chills. Every time I have ever heard it!
VM's Tupelo Honey fills me with total joy when I hear it.
ABB Desdemona has become a favorite too.

Jessica always raises the hair on my neck. How anyone can hear that song and not SMILE, is beyond me. It is just such a song of pure joy.

Whipping Post - Can't remember the bands name
Thorazine Shuffle - Mule
Train, Train - Blackfoot
Never Say Die - Black Sabbath
I Love It Loud - Kiss
Roadhouse Blues - Doors

Most recently its been MTB playing Take the Highway. I spend a lot of time driving, and when I'm driving down the highway listening to that song, I get chills. Many times I think that I'll just skip the exit to my job and just keep on driving...............

I have to say, as I did in the favorite driving tunes thread: Jimi Hendrix "Drivin' South"! Gets me every time, without fail.
A couple of others would be:
Van Halen- "Eruption-You Really Got Me" and "Pretty Woman" but only when it's played with the intro tune that I can't remember the title of.
Metallica's "Last Caress" and "Master of Puppets" as well as a whole bunch more from them, especially from "Garage Days Revisited."

The rest of the list is far too long, in all, to bore y'all with, so I'll let it stand as it is...

One Way Out off Peach, I could hear that a million times more and it still demands my attention and gets my foot a movin'.

Non ABB... Like A Hurricane, Neil Young, or Dixie Chicken, Little Feat, either does it. and also.....

I just realized OWO's question here is, a what's the word for an unsolvable, cosmic, multi faceted, space and time defying, multi dimensional riddle with no answer? Shoot, I could keep going. with 30 more songs...

Me too Bird. There are so many tunes that get me going it's hard to mention them all. Of course, One Way Out is is a no brainer for me anyway.
